I visited Myanmar in 2018 and it has been my favourite place ever since. It's a beautiful country filled with the kindest people I've ever met, I'll never forget all the smiling Mingalabars... Since the start of the civil war it has always been in my mind, good to see tourists are still visiting and the people of Yangon are resilient. Peace and love from The Netherlands to the oppressed people of Myanmar 🫶 Hope to one day visit again in peaceful times ☮
I'm from Myanmar, and it's heartbreaking to see how lifeless the city has become compared to before. The line "Smiling faces with resilience" moved me to tears. 😭Thank you so much for your wishes for our country. I hope we regain our democracy very soon.
I'm an American living in Myanmar, lived here for over 10 years, currently in High School, and in Yangon it's quiet peaceful, everyone's very kind, and overall a good, fun experience. Unfortunately, anywhere else in Myanmar is quiet dangerous.

I really miss my country, the food, the people and even the trishaws. It brings so much happiness to me when I saw you not asking for any discounts. It is a really cheap country and the locals really need the money. Hope to visit my country soon again. Thanks for posting this video.

I am Burmese currently livng in Yangon, Myanmar, and it has become increasingly difficult to live. Safety concerns make it risky to go out late, even in the city center. Poor economic management, recent conscription laws, and harsh military rule are driving unprecedented numbers of people to flee the country. The exchange rate has plummeted from 1,300 MMK per USD before the coup to 4,000 MMK per USD. Most foreign direct investment has withdrawn due to unstable exchange policies and harsh trade rules. Over 5 million Burmese live abroad, and many more have fled since the coup. I myself need to go back to Melbourne where I stayed there over a decade. The ongoing civil war makes it unsafe for tourists. Until stability and safety are restored, tourists should avoid Myanmar. Local residents face daily challenges, and the international community needs to support efforts toward peace and better governance.
Coup or not.. you can't avoid inflation.. dollar will become more stronger because no other currency Ballance the use of dollar.. trust me whether your government change or not.. your currency will still the same..
