The Western media did not tell us how violent the rioters were in Hong Kong and about the most restrained police in the world, the HK police. The Western media still refuses to tell us soldiers were lynched before the Tiananmen Massacre and so-called heroes knew there would be a massacre but they did not warn their comrades but fled beforehand because they wanted to see bloodshed that would lead the sanctions of the CCP, hopefully it would collapse as a result. Yangon is probably the safest place to visit in Myanmar as its the largest city in the country and gets tourists visting the city but it does probably have crime but Yangon is further away from the war zone areas of Myanmar
This is getting me nostalgic because due to the coup and everything, as a girl, I fear to go out alone as there are many pickpockets now (I'd be lucky if they just want my money and not hurting me), especially on public transports like buses, which is why I don't go out as much as before anymore. However, it really fills me with relief and happiness to see both of you safe and sound as foreigners! As many of the comments said, Yangon is probably the safest city to travel for now since the other small ones (especially the countryside) might be a warzone for many. this channel might have the best vlogs done in myanmar by tourists. i used to look at these kinds of videos just out of curiosity back in myanmar, now that i'm away from myanmar, i find these types of videos serene. as i watch the videos, i got "hey i know that place". great stuff
and most shan noodles in yangon arent authentic. they are like their own versions in yangon. shan noodle as you've said its from shan region. in shan region, normally if you order shan noodles, they'll ask you dry or soup. real authentic shan noodles from shan regions are worlds apart from up the cities

When Myanmar people say tofu, it’s not the Chinese version of tofu made from soybeans. Our tofu is actually chickpea tofu made from chickpea powder that’s why it doesn’t taste like tofu. Funny enough, the “real” tofu made from soybeans is not called tofu in Myanmar. We call it “Pae Pyar” which literally means bean curd which is not really a wrong way to call it too. Anyhow, I’m happy that you enjoyed Burmese food. Hope to have more people recognize Burmese cuisine because it’s an art of its own. 🥰

Tea leaf salad is a must try. OMG,I miss my country. Myanmar has such a variety of traditional foods and cuisines. We have seven major ethnic groups that can be expanded into 135 ethnic groups.Each ethnic goup has their own tradional foods and cuisines.And every food is unique and delicious in their own way.

I was drinking Tiger beer in Singapore at $14US per stubbie. Next day I’m in Thandwe drinking the same beer for$3US
