Most of Myanmar people are resilience because we had been encountered so many things in the past as well as in being presence. Basically we, Myanmar people used to think positively whatever we faced difficulties. That's the reason why you guys see the smile on everyone face even though we are struggling and stressed due to current situation in Myanmar.
At this point, I am just tired. War after wars and fight after fights over the slightest disagreement. As a young Burmese, my hope is disappearing. It is hard to survive and find money in all this. It is scary, I can’t go outside without being afraid of bombs, shootings and the military.
resilience??? so why your people went to Malaysia and create a lot of problem here??? Why??? Ask your people to leave Malaysia right now!!! Based on what I saw in this video, Myanmar so prosperous and there’s no reason your people flocking to enter my country everyday!!! OMG!!!
I am currently an international student studying in Manchester. I would like to thank both of you for showing around all the places we left our footsteps. It sheds me tears watching this video as I don't know when.I will be going back home. again, thank u for filiming your moments in Myanmar and pls do speak out more about our country. have a safe journey.
My girlfriend is also an international student from Myanmar, I really want to visit with her when things get better as she has told me many beautiful stories and shown me a lot of amazing things about her country. Praying for you and praying for Myanmar
Thanks for showing the positive side of Myanmar to the world. I'm really glad to hear that you like our traditional foods and our smiling faces. Actually, We Myanmar are really kind and generous. You speak out these things to the world. Thank you, guy!!!
Is soo funny these British people. They go to most countries and places.. but at the end of each videos is almost like they always settle in for beers at a bar or a hotels 😂😅
The fact that there are so many people visiting and having fun is that many of them are not people from Yangon... they are people who fled the war from the villages... There are many people who moved to Yangon because they are afraid of the war and cannot go abroad.....However, there are thousands of people who cannot even move to Yangon because their houses have burned down. Rather than walking around because they've never been there, they're too tired to relax and walk around. Even in Yangon, the electricity always cut off and so they are visiting shopping mall to avoid heat. Almost all of young people are struggling and always worried in their daily life.
Warmly welcome to Myanmar! Although I am currently away, seeing your video makes me feel like I am in Yangon. Thank you for visiting Myanmar and creating such a wonderful video. I look forward to another video about this beautiful country. God bless you!
Thanks for speaking out !!! This is a rare and precious moment that you guys are showing the world what is happening in Myanmar. The main cities are just filled with overcrowded people but other state cities and small towns become empty due to leaving of people to safer places. Safe the trip guys

The places where you were visiting is my native town ,It makes me feel sad .anyway thanks for coming and speaking out about Myanmar's situation. No matter how Myanmar people are suffering from economic crisis, having a lot of trouble with junta, they still have optimistic and be friendly to strangers.
Hey! You guys should totally check out Shwe Dagon Pagoda while you're here. It's like, one of the most amazing places in Yangon and the vibes are just unreal. As a Burmese local, it makes me so happy to see you sharing the beautiful side of Myanmar, especially with all the crazy stuff going on. Thanks for showing everyone what makes our country so special. Have an awesome and safe trip!❤
So refreshing to see you guys do a meet up with a native who can show a sense of what's going on Myanmar . Your video gives you that. Making friends wherever you go in the world will add so much of a dynamic to your videos. Well Done Guys ! Sending you so much love ❤ from our current location Cascais, Portugal Harriet, Jim and Yuki
The part when Molly got sprayed with toilet water HAHAHA I did not expect that. Thanks so much for visiting my country and city, I feel extremely lucky to be living in this much safer part of the country. And seeing Myanmar through you guys eyes has been a pleasure, I’ve been keeping up with the vlogs x
Really enjoying Myanmar videos. I travelled around Myanmar in 2018 and have amazing memories, people were so kind, the temples are so beautiful and the artworks and crafts.. Hope you got lots of local art! :) Ps: Molly, saw you in Teddington the other day!
You two guys are absolutely amazing. I wanna show you around the seaside and mountain where has the most stunning view in the local Myanmar. If the situations turn to normal conditions, come back again to feel the nature of our country. Always welcoming from Myanmar
Thank you for your positive comments on Myanmar. With the recent crazy events, Myanmar has gradually become known to most people. Although most of them are not positive comments, thank you for letting more people know about the real Myanmar.
Thank you for sharing your experience it's so lovely to see you guys enjoying your time in my country. I'm currently living in Yangon originally from Shan state, a beautiful place and just like most states in Myanmar, it's at brutal war with the military regime. A lot of the youth has to find refuge and sanctuary in safer places like Yangon or overseas. I wish you could explore many more unspoiled rural areas filled with natural beauty and wonders in every corner of the country. Just like you said in the video, we have to take our mind off of the heavy stuff and find enjoyment in whatever ways we can. Thank you for showing the world that even in the face of adversity we can still smile. I hope one day you revisit Myanmar when time is moving once again.
This basically read like "You hear so much shit about North Korea, but Pyongyang is frikin bussin dude! Look at that building, look at these waiters, oh wow look at these statues!"
It is nice that you want to show a "different" side of Myanmar. Not quite sure I'd call it shocking, but if you say so... By drinking beers in Harry's, you were inadvertently supporting the business of an arms dealer that supplies the Myanmar military, which is dropping bombs on and burning villages communities beyond your reach. Much more shocking IMHO.
It’s shocking for most people who haven’t seen this before. Not something we would know re Harry’s. It was recommended to us and it was busy so we presumed it was all good.
I am from myanmar and I love in Yangon I hope you guys are having a good time in Yangon and have a good stay And you should try to eat jojo hotpot it very good but has a long line to wait

And for Bagan, Inlay and some of the famous places in it can still be visitable.

Good content, this video. Not many visit Myanmar nowadays and there are lots of narratives, but hardly based on real time experience in traveling in Myanmar. As a European expat living and working here in SE Asia (residing in Kuala Lumpur), I still go Myanmar on a regular basis, about 3 times a year. Mainly in Yangon, but also towards the center of the country. It's tough out there, the local population is enduring hardship, war, violence and brutalities on a daily basis. Yangon is of course relatively calm and safe, but as soon as you get out of the bubble of Yangon, the world looks different. Thank you for the video. I had to move out of the country to the States in August 2021. The military coup was so traumatizing. I do miss my country so much though: the food, the culture and the people. I wish I could show my kids the better Myanmar one day. 😅
I am half Burmese and half American, and I am in Yangon rn. Even though the situation is bleak, I still have high hopes that Myanmar can come to an age of peace. Despite the civil war, it is actually really peaceful in some of the regions here. Btw I think I heard the Thingyan song that Zaw Paing sang, and that we’re family friends
Has been 4 years since I left Myanmar, and I miss the place I grew up in. Thanks for showing us the current situation when even us locals are afraid to go back during these times.
I gotta go there. It looks really cool! 18:29 - That is a very common Japanese toilet. Very common around Japan. What she squirted out was the bidet. Another very common thing with toilets. Pretty much, you use it to wash your behind after you finish. You can adjust the water flow and the water temperature. The seat can be heated if you like.
