Got mine about a year and a half ago and was like meh at first and it sat in a drawer. Been carrying it a lot more lately and very impressed. I was cutting open bags of crushed marble and the edge still mildly shaves. Also really love a spydy wire clip. Lastly, the ergos work in almost any hand position. This knife definitely flies under the radar but is worth it!

It's surprising they designed it where the jimping area interferes with the compression lock, in that way. I noticed that just a little bit with my copper PM2, but it wasn't a big deal. What you showed on the watu, it seems much more pronounced. Nice observations on this one. I'm still curious enough that I have it on my wishlist, but there are several ahead of it.

Very few Spydies in my collection. When they work for me, they work. Others simply don't catch my interest. Must be the hump and hole thing..... 😁

It is a great working folder. It cuts like a champ and I really like how it looks. That blade shape is just pure utilitarian, this is a cutting tool inspired by a different culture.African Chokwe knives are just no brainer users. They should have kept the liner lock though, I give you that.No fuss.I like it so much that I bought five of these. That being said I enjoy your onest review. Maybe you should give the Spyderco Kapara a try. Good job mate !

Good review sir! I was also looking at one but decided to pass. I may pick one up on the secondary market too. I love Spyderco’s propensity for odd knives tho.

Spyderco seems to build knives with odd shapes. It is I don't like the look at first glance but then I get used to it. I just don't know about this one. It is interesting and slicey but for some reason it doesn't make me want it.

Lynch Northwest clips are what you want! I do love Spydercos wire clips though I don't replace those.
