You can remove those drawer locks. It's pretty simple. They slide right out to the right with the drawer open! There might be something you have to squeeze. I cant remember right off.

I too want some more height from the box, what kind of casters did you have in mind? I was just gonna get some big blocks of wood and let the box sit on that instead of the ground. any info helps, good idea

Hell yeah brother 🤘😎🤘 super nice box.
I’m headed to my local HF tm to order the 56 in blue. Unfortunately they don’t have it in stock but I believe it’s worth the wait.

The depth of the drawers isn’t much different from this and most snap on boxes you would have to get one of the top of the lines boxes and to drawers that are significantly deeper also I think they made them like this so the box won’t tip over when you leave a couple drawers open all the way

Unfortunately, nobody ever shows the underside supports. This is the weak spot on the box. If they would just beef up the supports it would actually be a nice box for the money but as is, if you have it loaded and roll over door jams and such it will eventually fail. The ICON series is supported well though and I will eventually get one as a second box for home. Not knocking the series 3, just hoping enough people will become aware of this and th needed improvement will be put in place.

I just bought one on sale for $1350 in the parking lot sale, and once i add the top toolbox it will total over 55k cubic inches of tool space all for $2,570 & thats with taxes included and if i dont get the top box(not hutch) on sale. So SnapOn this 72" size only holds 2,400 lbs of weight, but the US General holds 6,600 lbs and can expand with all the add ons. Way better for your money.
You don't want casters in the middle(plus cant turn for shit), those are horrible casters(huskys) thats why they need a 3rd set(still only handles less than 2,300 lbs), US General casters can hold 3x the weight.

I also purchased a top and bottom box (series 2). I was surprised how heavy the box and crate weighted (1000 lbs.) but protected the box well. My toolbox is used to limit people from access to my tools. I also have a Mac top and bottom toolbox. So, I can appreciate the cost of tool truck pricing of boxes. I'm retired now and this will work fine for me.

Fair enough reveiw and Comments on. the Box , for a Entry Level ,combined with the price i agree it’s a good deal , i do really like the lighting upgrade other reveiws i’ve read or watched do give negative comments on the Caster system not being capable of performing under a loaded box ? that may be true but Harbor Freight does sell better Casters

You mentioned the depth. I have a Snap on KRA2411 lower box that is 24” deep. The matching Snap on hutch for that is only 22” deep, same as the HF series 3. I’m getting the HF hutch that is just as deep and actually a little taller, but HUGE difference in price. HF=$599. Snap on=$3,700! Gotta do a slight mod to make it work, but night and day price difference. 👍

I wish that box was deeper. The depth of the draws is what carries iron. I just dont think they'd handle deep draws either. But $3k is a chunk of cash, u can buy VERY nice used made in USA boxes for that sort of $$. And with those, u wont be begging to upgrade every time u touch a flimsy draw.

I have the same box and hutch in black. As of tomorrow, I'll have 2 series 3 side lockers. It is strictly homeowner use and will never leave my garage. My own personal opinion, its fantastic and worth the money. I highly recommend it. I read lots of complaints about depth however its not a concern to me. Also, i actually like the drawer latches. Maybe just takes a little getting used to.
