I have a 2013 Silverado and I locked my keys and key fob in it today. Roadside assistance came out and had the same tools you have. He got the tip of the rod on my unlock button and it wouldn’t work. He pulled up on my door lock and it would only go up so far. He couldn’t get either door unlocked because the unlock buttons and the door lock wouldn’t work for him. He ended up fishing my keys out of my purse using the green wire and pulling them out of my door. Any idea why he couldn’t get any of the buttons or locks to work? They worked just fine after he got it unlocked.
@@roadsideguy5902 The doors were locked and the key fob wouldn't work so I ended up manipulating the release cable through the grill and got the hood open and took the battery out and charged it and got it going.
Just pull the inside handle or hit the unlock button. If it has a pull up lock on top of the door pull that up. If it has a slide or flipper lock, slide it or flip it.
I locked mine inside this morning in my driveway. I watched this video. I’m a Paramedic so I had a blood pressure cuff at home. I took a wooden wedge and pried my door slightly. I slid my cuff in, pumped it up and slid a rod from a flower stand in and popped the handle. Thanks for the video. This saved me $65.00 from the local towing company. 💪🏻😁
Kool my buddy locked his I have to unlock his truck thank for the tip
Man you’ve helped with so many lockouts. Can’t thank you enough 💪🏻
So how many cars have you stolen 😂
None unless you count buying them cheaper than their actual value lol

I have a pro kit but on my truck if it's not unlocked the door handle inside. Battery is dead.

He didn't pull it up all the way. A lot of complaints about guys before me that couldn't unlock em. They just aren't doing it right is all.
What if the battery is dead ?
Just pull the inside handle.

Doesn't work on a 2014 Silverado. High country electric doors handle stone pop that you should push the button down

But I'm on the side of the road and have nothing
Call roadside or Uber. Uber can take you to Home Depot. You can buy similar tools there.
I found a slanted wood and some metal wire
