I've had 4 of these in total ranging from 2003 FX45 to my current 2017 QX70 Limited. It has over a 100k miles and it drives and feels like brand new.. They've all been extremely reliable. Never had any unexpected repairs and highly recommend them. Infiniti considers the QX55 to be the closest replacement, but that would be a mistake with the CVT and the bizarre VCT 4 cylinder engine (my wife leased one and we couldn't get rid of it quick enough!)

@beforebuying - an extra item to add is rear axle click requiring re-greasing or complete replacement (typical on all Infiniti / Nissan RWD/AWD SUVs) around the 100k kms mark (60k miles).

2010 FX35 here and changed front wheel bearings at 150K, steering rack at 170K, new spark plugs blah blah blah... right now i'm at 175K and it runs great, but my fueld gauge is "cheating"... soldering or replacing what transistors exactly?

The v9x is the most reliable?i heard it eats up 2-3 L of oil every 10 000 km

    • @lukehulands7536

I have the V9X engine and change the oil every 10,000kms and have not noticed an oil level change - 5ltrs goes in and 5ltrs comes out every time so far luckily.

@Harut Hajin I put motul specific 0720 acea c4 ( i have dpf) ,this oil is specificaly for Renault nissan engines,I will change it if you sugest to do so

@Harut Hajin yes 5w30 is the type of oil...in the manual says it has to be changed every 20 000km ,I change it every 10 000km....but in 10 000km it eats 2-3 liters of oil

@@lukehulands7536 Hello sir, what car do you have with the v9x? Thank you

    • @madagrosu1713

@Harut Hajin engine sounds like new ,very silent, very rafinate, the manual of infiniti says to change on every 20 000km ,I change at 10 000....mechanics told me it is normal for a euro5 engine with diesel particle filtre,to consum oil...by the way Mercedes and BMW eat 1l of oil every 2-3000 km ,my car at least has 180 000km ,I think i will sell it and buy the 3.7 gasoline version

How do you feel about the fx35 2009 ..looking for this model ..like the video please reply your opinion!

Your better off with the fx37 with the engine upgraded from 3.5L to 3.7L. Better yet get FX50, that’s the best one.

What is the oil channel cover and bolts on it? maybe he mean oil pan ? who knows let me know please

the drive shaft needs replacing after 150 thou miles, on fx35, 2009, the diff bushing must be replc., cat cnvrtr, goes bad at 70 thou, ign coil, and plugs, must change as needed. Other than that this is the greatest suv made.

Thanks for your review! That was extremely informative! I'm looking into buying a 2014 QX70 with 96k miles and am still a bit hesitant about whether its a reliable car or whether it's going to cost me money to maintain. But I love the looks and the engine of this car.

Leaking sunroof draining into footwells. A costly out of warranty repair

What's the fix? Do you know?

    •  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@latreciafrancis9092 Clear the drain lines, using weed cutting plastic cable with a drill, just find the hole in the sunroof, put the cable in and timely send down and clear it. It thats simple, cost me 5.55 for the cable, because I already had a drill. Put some water bit , by bit, and watch it leaks out under the car. GOOD luck.
