Currently have 79,650 miles on the clock. Awesome car! It replaced our 2009 G37x which we owned from new. Would like to see Nissan/Infiniti come out with a performance all electric 700-800hp hi-tech retro replacement in a couple years time to trade up to!
The QX70 in your video is identical to my 2014 QX70 that I bought brand new. To this day it has never been in the shop. Oil changes and battery changes only, plus 1 set of new tires. Ride and power are awesome. This is my 3rd Infiniti.

May want to mention the transmission difference with the the FX models vs Murano (and other Nissan products). The lack of CVT is why we own 4 Infinitis, I was looking at Rogues for a while before finding the FX35 for daughter's first car. I couldn't trust her to eventually maintain the CVT properly when on her own.

I know the market on other contemporary vehicles might make it seem like $27k is a lot of money for a 9 year-old vehicle (heck, even $22k might seem like a lot of money for a car with 100k miles), but I think the FX is good value for money. They are safe. Depending on the package yours has, you might get a lot of additional tech features like intelligent cruise control, lane departure warning and forward collision warning. @@gudalawrence3746 do you guys have the long wheel base EX as well? In the US, that's what we got as the 2016 and 2017 model year QX50. That's what I want
Nice collection man! I have wanted one of these for such a long time and finally in the market for one. My only concern is, what is your experience with repairs/ gen. maintenance for these given that they have been phased out? are parts hard to find and are independent mechanics comfortable working them?
We got rid of it for a larger SUV, but maintenance was not difficult or complicated. Thankfully, Nissan V6s are very common and their transmissions are shared with other vehicles. There isn't much on the power train that cannot be solved in town or at least within an hour of these small towns I live in. Nissan dealerships can handle almost anything you take to them.
Outside of that, thankfully the other systems are pretty robust and not too much tends to go wrong with them. Just keep an eye out for water intrusion on the older model, as it can short your modules.
These were the last of the good Infiniti line up. One thing is the Infiniti black paint is a PIA to maintain if you are particular about swirls or spider webbing. Most black cars are, but the paint they use is really a PIA even compared to other makes, it is easily marred with the slightest thing. The new line up they have is just trash all around. They look like plain commuter cars now. Their SUVs look like trash, their sedans are ugly. Infiniti really lost the momentum it had, whoever they have leading the design team now is a fool for changing things in the wrong direction. They could have continued and made some really futuristic design concepts and toned them down a bit for production, instead they went the safe route and now you have a bland and flat line up of junk that doesnt really even stand out against its competition. These were the last of the exciting Infiniti's. I guess NIssan decided to not make nice looking vehicles anymore. They just stopped, look at the ugly line up now, its a real shame.
No problem, glad to help. The front seats were comfortable especially with the seats all the way back, but that meant the rear seats got very little legroom...in case you have passengers back there.
If you don’t mind me asking how much did you pay I’m looking at one with the same miles same year same model but they’re asking 19K is that a good deal

walmart has a good synthetic at a good price. the fuel economy is very slightly better with the 5W30 weight but oil consumption is significantly higher.
I have a 2013 fx37 and I was thinking about changing the grill to the bumble bee hide that come on the 2017 qx70 my question is are they the same size and is it an easy job to do?
The upgraded honeycomb grille should fit on a 2013 bumper cover, and it is something you can do with simple garage tools
@@EdBwoy thank you so much for the response bro watchingbyiur videos is the reason why I purchased an fx 37 it's been 2 months now since purchased love it one thing you were right about it doesnt drive smooth lol
Thanks boss
Did you entertain or come across any QX70 LIMITED for consideration?
I looked at them, but they seemed to cost way too much for what I wanted out of a vehicle. Plus none of those I came across had the tech package, and that to me was a bigger deal.
There are qx70s that are 5.0 I think only for 2015 they are their
Do you have any answers for a 2012 m37x passenger seat , light not coming on or heating/cooling.. I did change a few of the fuses. But still nothing
You might need to pull the wires and look at them closely. Those cars have been having issues with terminals melting
Ok thank you
Have you done a video on an EX35/37? if not can you do one for the channel. 🙏🏾
Believe it or not, the EX is one of my dream cars. The prices are crazy right now, but if I get close to a good one, I'll do my best to share some content.
@@EdBwoy wow that’s nice to know. Even in my country the EX on the used market are more expensive that the first and 2nd Gen FX35’s most times.
@@gudalawrence3746 I usually see the EX as a lifestyle vehicle. They look good and handle very well, but I am not ready to pay thousands more for a similar FX or QX70.
I guess it kind of is my fault for being picky on the exact EX I am looking for, haha
@@EdBwoy 😁😁, I too will not be paying more for an EX over the price of an FX.
@@gudalawrence3746 do you guys have the long wheel base EX as well?
In the US, that's what we got as the 2016 and 2017 model year QX50. That's what I want
Watching the hand talk
It's prettier than my face. It's gonna have to do for now. Lol
Stance and wheels 22"
You get nothing but BIG infinities 😂🙏🏽
@@EdBwoy awesome, nice to hear!
@@EdBwoy thx for the heads up
ur whole driveway is a Nissan dealership!
Beautiful
Thank you!
JUST DON'T PUT H & R LOWEINGS SPRINGS --- ON - I DID SMALL (1") DROP ON MY 2013 FX37 & IT RIDES LIKE F SHIT! JUST WAISTED $2K! DONT DO IT!
What about coilovers?
Man that long video and you stop recording at the best part smdh
I try my best to title my videos accurately to the content
Dude you really ramble on
OK.
How tall are you? I'm 6'5
I am 6'2"
@@EdBwoy thanks for responding. I just wanted to know if I could fit in the QX70
Sorry I missed your comment when you posted it. Mine was bought at the height of the used car market, and they were asking for maybe $18k
It was a great price, considering it was everything we wanted at the time. Obviously, things have changed a lot since
