I honestly really like your descriptions. They show a fundamental "know how" and also understanding of what you are doing and why.

Best and most complete video on how to remove the tranny. I replaced the fluid, filter, seals and both sleeves recently. The most challenging thing was getting the rear sleeve out with the exhaust bracket/cross member. I ended up welding a 10mm external socket inside a 7/8" nut to allow for enough head space to back the bolts out. I could not get the rear sleeve out of any nook or cranny with the small exhaust cross member in. Upon completion I did the alternator bracket seal and cleaned up the oils on the entire engine. The 2005 545i with 78,000 miles now does not leak!!! Okay... maybe the valve cover gaskets weep a bit but it's not leaving a mark everywhere I park it. Now to trace the electrical gremlins. So, Mr ShoplifeTV... you got this BMW dialed.

Damn bro!!! that explanation remembered me teaching my grandma' how to use my phone lol.
you got a subscriber here . I loved it. actually most of TH-cam's videos don't take the time to explain as you did ( maybe they think only techs will be watching their videos lol ) hope you keep it always this way and thanks for doing it on V8's since there are not much videos when I need to work on my 545i and 745i ( I don't like
    6 cylinder cars ) .

It's a good idea to keep track of the bolts when unbolting the transmission. I've never taken a transmission out of a BMW, but I used to work for Audi and many of the bolts were different lengths.

I really wish you'd do a video on replacing the Downpipes on an e60 535i. Started it, then stopped when I realized I had to drop the subframe. If you did a vid showing me how, I would have tackled it for sure.
    Keep making bmw vids!

BRAVO!!! This is, hands down, the cleanest DIY vid I've seen. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. Yes, it is much easier said than done, but even just narrating the process is a major task. Thank you for being so thorough, and not filling your video with umms and uhhhs. That's a nice looking 550 BTW. Cool finish. It'd look nice on my X5!
