    It’s definitely important to be hearty when you’re donating blood/plasma. One time I donated blood in the early afternoon/late morning without eating breakfast and while I didn’t pass out or anything, I did feel weak and drawn. It’s not just something that’s an issue for the health compromised

      I went ghost white donating blood. I don't have a good diet. All 5 of the employees ran over and started talking to me and pulled the needle out immediately. Scary stuff.

    I donate 2 times a week. Making almost 500 a month. You will only make 1000 for the first month or so.

      I was reading that some centers give the bigger bonus also when you have not been for a few months. So some people only go when they get that deal. I think it makes for great gift money or a cruise :)

      @@karmasutra4774 I only do it for the deal. When my time is up I go to other sonar places. I took a 6 month break donating I just started back last month. I make 900 too 1000 a month.

    I always go to bed at 10 before donating, eat big breakfast and 2 bottles of water or Gatorade and i feel fine after. The one in Lima Ohio gives out $850 for 8 donations

    You only get 50 dollars and 65 dollars once each week meaning the max you can earn for a returning donor is 115x4
    430 a month

    Unfortunately, as of August 2023 because so many are doing it at least in Salt Lake Utah the pay has really dropped post covid ! I got 75 but that’s as new after 9 month return donor ! It’s probably 50 bucks for me after this month which isn’t worth it

      My arm was killing me, and I felt like crap afterward. It's the next day, and I still feel lousy.
      I ate like I was supposed to and drank plenty of water!
      I don't know how anyone could sit and read a book! All I could think about was how bad my arm was hurting during and after the process. As I was lying there. I was thinking this is not worth it!!!

    The Grifols where I live cut back to $40 for the first donation of the week and $85 for the second donation in the same week. If you donate one per week, you’re looking at $40 per donation.

      Don’t do that. Biolife let’s you get 125 for your first for donations. You get 500 for 4 donations. Just do the promo and bounce. It ain’t worth 40$ bruh that’s insulting you can make more working a half day at McDonald’s

    FDA allow for 2 donations in a 7 day period with a day in between donations minimum. Return donors do not get rewarded compared to new donor promotions. Second donation within 7 days is often much more than the first donation

    The CSL website said the payout is $500.....when i got there...they informed me that for each of the first two visits i gets $100 then for each of the next three visits..i'll get $75 (for a total of $425) and then my payment for all other visits would be just only $35....
    That PATTERN is _very_ suspect to me!

      Suspect in what way ? New donors make more in their first month and returning donors average ( depending on weight ) $ 380- $ 460 / month . Everything straight forward .

      It's the only time in your life that you can officially say, "i wish i was bigger, and fatter" because the more body mass you have, the more you get paid. And they dont tell you that with the marketing and advertisement. Even the people referring you wont tell you because everyone wants to get paid

      Nah, they have monthly promotional programs. I started one recently that pays $900 if completed within a month.

      All the major players (Grifols, Biomat, CSL) are reputable.

      They are regulated and have to follow strict guidelines so its safe, most people start with the ones that pay the most for new donors and go from there.

    I want to buy my own machine and get FDA approved then do twice a week and make $52,000 cut out the middle man they pay $60 per donation and sell for $500 a bottle , a machine cost quite a bit , but I think it would be a good investment

    Yeah I was about to do it , about to go back to work gotta ride bike 20 miles a day, no food till first check, oh shit look at that not only do I need DL or state id but you guessed it SOCIAL Security CARD, this card shit is ridiculous and is a huge part of the homeless situation

    I have not donated yet, but to what I heard, as extra, SUPPLIMENTAL spending money, its an appropriate way to make a quick buck. I'd say limit donating to biweekly if you do it consistently so that you dont end up with ANY complications, monthly for zero complications assuming its in a sterile environment.
    Using a lightweight vr headset and one controller, you might be able to watch some nice movies while in on it. Might even be able to take a nap.

      @@SideHustleCulture I'm not sure, maybe some other one-day "commission" type hustles. I felt like a lot of trendy side hustles are only effective if you already have either a privileged start, notably financially advantageous, or if you have enough of a social media following to spike the usage enough to get a large return.
      Crypto and drop shipping are the two worst side hustles because they require either pre-existing financial stability or have too high a risk to call a "Side Hustle"

      It’s not safe to donate multiple times a week. Many countries do not allow donating more than once a week.. sometimes even a span of 14 days before your last visit.

      @@Workerbee2024 I believe there is a linked "federal" database that prevents one from donating more than 2X over a 7 day period. I do not believe it singles out where you have donated.

      @@Workerbee2024 They mean you go to one, finish your "new donor" time where they pay you extra, then go to a new one.
      You only donate as a "new donor," since you get paid much more if you're new.
      Once 6 months has passed(or however long a particular place takes to make you eligible again), you can go back to the original one.
      It's a bit more complicated to keep track of where you've been, but just write it down, and just ask them up front. If they won't tell you, ask the donors. They'll readily help.
      Most cities have at least like 5 companies posting up to buy your blood, so it's easy to do unless you're in a very rural place.

    want to donate so bad so I can get 100$ but honestly I was never one to be a fan of needles or giving blood I passed out literally like the last 3/5 times I did it but I need the money so bad and I heard it’s a longer process and the needle is way bigger I feel like fainting already and I’m not even there

      Why not just extract your own plasma then? Surely you could do that and make a fortune selling it, since that's what these companies do. Or, would you need a company that provides phlebotomists, equipment, a sterile environment, infrastructure and transport of the product to the hospitals, and everything else in between? Are you going to do all that yourself?
      What are you still doing commenting on youtube??? You could be making thousands selling your own plasma! Cut out the middleman!

      There isn't, it is legitimate. You can donate two times a week continually as long as you don't have bruising on one or both arms as they will tell you to wait until the bruising has gone away.

    I am currently 17 years old and like in Las Vegas, Nevada. I did some research but I haven't gotten a clear answer if I can donate here. Search say you can be at least 16 and sometimes 17 with parental consent, or must be at least 17, or even be at least 18. I can't find a place or direct answer if I can donate it.

    How long do I need to wait before being considered a "new donar" when switching centers to get the high pay? I heard the have a shared database to prevent a person using more than one center at a time.

      you can switch centers after a promotion is over, most centers seem to require a full week from last donation. You of course have to go through the entire health screening process again with a different center

      It’s 6 mos before you are new again. BUT you can change companies like go from CSL to Grifoils or Biolife. You can also go to another county. Just run a search for plasma donation in your area. Gotta wait a week between locations. If your in the right area you can rotate thru 4 or 5 companies/counties and always stay as a new donor.

    What if you don't want the blood they took out back? I would really trust it being put back to me. Do you have an option to opt out for getting it back to your body?

      No, actually if for some reason your vein constricts and they can't put the red blood cells back at the end of donating AND they can't use the vein in the other arm to do it you cannot come back for two months. And nothing to worry about, they are regulated and have to follow strict rules.

      @@amazonjunglez1188 Its perfectly safe the whole thing falls under the FDA. Again if someone doesn't want that then they should not donate plasma. The process wouldn't have been approved if it were not safe.

      @@amazonjunglez1188 If this is how you feel about the process, just don't do it. Returning your red blood cells is a crucial part of donating plasma. Otherwise, you're just donating blood. None of the reputable centers will allow you to refuse the return of your red blood cells and continue donating on a regular basis.

      @@amazonjunglez1188I haven’t sold my plasma yet for the VERY SAME reason u just said. I was fine with giving it, but when I heard that then they put the blood back in u after removing ur plasma, I was skeptical.
      I’m a little suspicious by nature, but something just isn’t sitting right with me about putting my plasma free blood back in my body. 🧐

      It varies for each company and they run promotions most of them from time to time. New donors will make $500-$1000 the first month. After that if you are a regular donor you will make $50-$75 per donation. The less you donate each month the lower the payment drops.

      They do preform a physical when you donate the first time to determine if you’re eligible. However, I’ve donated and have seen overweight/obese people donate.
