    Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got to talking about investment and money. I started investing with $150k and in the first 2 months, my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and get more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.

      Hi. I’ve been forced to find additional sources of income as I got retrenched. I barely have time to continue trading and watch my investments since I had my second child. Do you think I should take a break for a while from the market and focus on other things or return whenever I have free time or is it a continuous process? Thanks

    If you are planning for retirement Here are some key pointers. Firstly, kick-start your savings early to benefit from compounding. The longer your money has to grow, the better. Secondly, make the most of retirement accounts like 401(k)s and IRAs, especially if your employer offers a matching contribution - it's essentially free money. Thirdly, diversify your investments across different assets to mitigate risk. Think stocks, bonds, and real estate.

    An acquaintance of mine works for a rideshare company in their corporate office. He admitted the company knows it's basically a scam and the drivers aren't getting paid anything meaningful once you consider wear & tear on the car. He told me "these people go out and buy a $20,000 car, make $10,000 driving, but when they're done the car is worth $12,000 and they spend $2k in maintenance and gas" Only the company made money. Unless the driver gets a killer tip, most aren't making anything. Most quit after 6 months once they figure out how little they actually made, but the business model is designed to constantly bring in new blood, people that can't figure out the cost accounting side of it.

    Refereeing! I started with no experience except playing and coaching soccer and made about $6000 in the first year. I had to invest about $300 for the class, uniform, etc. The best thing about it is that I get to set the schedule. For high school games, it pays almost $1/min! Some folks do multiple sports.

      I looked into power washing business as a side job but all the articles were wrong that you could invest a few hundred and get out there. Everyone who does it is saying you'll never get off the ground unless you have at MINIMUM a 4GPM gas powered power washer that is mounted to a truck or trailer with a hundred foot minimum hose, and that even includes if you do nothing but small jobs. And be prepared for lots of part replacements. I imagine if you stuck to garbage can cleanings, you might get away with a smaller washer that's around $500 instead of $1200 but you need the truck and trailer.

If you know friends & family that are car shopping it's worth letting them know you may be interested in paying them cash for the trade in value of their used car. I used the money to pay down consume debt, so the 5200, has even more value when you factor in the interest I'm not paying on it.

    There are gonna be a lot of people complaining that people spend over their means and well that's very true. In a lot of cases they're also gonna be a lot of people are getting wages have not kept up that's also true in a lot of cases and here's my example 12 years ago when me and my wife bought our house, we made $80,000 that year together our house was $60,000 and was only valued at $70,000 Fast forward 12 years lot has changed. Neither of us have those jobs anymore. I'm disabled whatever point being even with those exact same jobs now we would probably make right at 100,000 a year together our house is now valued at $200,000 so while our income would have increased by 25% home values in my area have quadrupled and I say in my area because there was a home right down the road that just sold for $300,000 and I promise you 12 years ago that house was not worth about about $80,000 Inflation has destroyed our buying power because incomes have not kept up nowhere near the rate of inflation. That's a simple fact now I will agree with other arguments. We buy a lot of crap. We don't have to have most people tend to eat out a lot and yes, eating out is more expensive than eating at home. That's another simple fact, but there's a lot that goes into this problem as a whole it's not just one thing

    • @donaldlyons17
      @donaldlyons17 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yep but people online don't talk about buying power or buying items at higher prices. I don't understand either unless incomes increase relative to other things the issue can't be people buying too much stuff when the prices of once cheap items are no longer cheap.

    Maybe I’m nuts or I’ve just lived in poor places my whole life, but I could never see myself paying someone to pressure wash a trash can that I don’t even own and that the trash company will replace with a simple phone call, or picking up glass bottles because I feel like I SHOULD be recycling them. And I’m ABSOLUTELY not paying $1000 for 10 days of dog sitting. But I guess there’s a sucker born every day.
