How to set background images for Kenwood DDX319

Once you find out how to view the pics you've chosen, you can enlarge them if they're to small. You will also see that you can alter them further with some options that pop up.

PARK BRAKE SWITCH OVERIDE: simply plug in the green parking switch wire -> splice the end -> then electric tap the wire to the top of the head unit (metal chasis). Granted you can cut the wire down to about 3 inches to make it a little neater if thats what you prefer.

Is it possible to show just the background picture when listening to the radio? What's the point of a background picture if everything covers it up?

IF IT IS UNSUPPORTED FILE TYPE CHECK YOUR MANUAL AND SEE WHICH FORMAT THE USB MUST BE IN A FAT32 FORMAT. YOURS IS PROBABLY A NTSF. TO CHANGE THE FORMAT POP YOUR USB INTO YOUR COMPUTER RIGHT CLICK AND SELECT FORMAT. FORMAT TO A FAT32. PLEASE NOTE ALL YOUR DATA WILL BE ERASED TO SAVE EVERYTHING TO YOUR COMPUTER FIRST THEN FORMAT THEN ONCE IT'S A FAT32 RECOPY YOUR DATA BACK ONTO THE USB. IT SHOULD NOW WORK ON YOUR KENWOOD SYSTEM BEING RECOGNIZED. IF IT DOESN'T THEN TRY A DIFFERENT THUMB DRIVE OR MAKE SURE YOUR CABLE IS A 2.0 FULL SPEED NOT A 3.0

Yeah I like Henry are having trouble with the Kenwood DDX630BT getting an image on that screen is a lot harder, but both of you's have a lot of expertise, mainly I just want to play you tube movies, TNNZ ondemand, facebook, Tom Tom or Google maps, and other apps that are on my iphone like it looked like Henry was doing at least his iphone screen was the same as his Kenwood screen, Disappointed my Kenwood didn't do this straight away and now I am sure there will be nobody in NZ with the know how.

Umm so where do you plug in the usb stick? theres none on the front panel and the back is buried 8 inches into my car. I can't figure out where on earth im supposed to plug in. Can i transfer the image from my iphone 4 connection? It's technically usb plugin i think. Please help!

Juan its simple ground the parking park wire to the ground wire. I have a question myself everytime i change the panel color then try to save the memory settings shut off the truck it goes back to the color before anyone one how to fix this ?

Hey ok I found out how. Ummm download videos as mp3 them converter into mpg went u save the file saved into ur sdcard n try play if it doesnt converter into mpg4 let me know
