It really all depends on your personal preference and your personal needs. Each one if different but I suggest try all of them and see which on you like best. 😎 👍
hey! question! I always use parenting with empty groups. But now I try to animate a moving caterpillar. I think the best method would be with automatic weights. is that true? And do you have a video about parenting with automatic weights? because nothing appears in my vertex groups when i choose automatic weights instead of empty groups.
Hi Erika, I have not tried parenting with automatic weights on Grease Pencil objects. I have used it only on 3D Mesh objects. Let me try it and get back to you.😎
@@Learn2Animate thanks a bunch. I already fixed it i puting the whole knowledge yo make 4 minutes sketch but I realiza that I need to be patient because its gonna take a time to finish my fist own youtube episode brother
I use layer relation instead of vertex group to rig separate objects with armature, but when I try to rig an arm or leg the joints/origin ends up changing its place and then my arm ends up intersecting each other. How do you keep it in place?
The best Blender 2D tutorial in TH-cam! Thank you so much!
Wow, thanks! 👍 😎
So which should we use? Does the green one use less gpu/cpu processing than bones, for example? If so, why do animators tend to use bones?

How can you do this with imported art from another program like Affinity?
Check this video out: th-cam.com/video/YGcHqRg9oQc/w-d-xo.htmlsi=vd7_r6SlHGCvac6g
You can do this with any vector program. Just export to SVG 👍 😎

Thank you for the tip, I am not too familiar with layer relation. Try it with a vertex group see if you like it. Let me know
