- Caramelised Banana/Nendran Ghee Roast /Pazham Nurukku
Ingredients
1 ripe Banana
1 tsp ghee
1tsp coconut oil (optional)
1 tbsp sugar
Instructions
Peel and Slice the banana into 1/4-inch thick long/ discs.
In a frying pan add ghee and coconut oil.
Cook the plantain slices in ghee until it starts to brown.
Flip to other side and fry until it starts to brown.
Now sprinkle the sugar on top of the slices. The easy and delicious sweet is ready.
Let it cool a little before serving.

Banana will get soft when cooked.
Add the sugar according to your choice. Serve warm as it is as snack. It can also be served warm with some vanilla ice .
This banana ghee fry can be given to babies after eight months(skip sugar) as finger food, and it helps in healthy weight gain.

Actually I used Nendran not robust. Actually I missed showing the banana before it is peeled. I usually used ripe nendran for my kids and thought i would share.
