@@Gleyi07 absolutely amazing song, one of the best ever written. Problem is you listen to it and it goes straight to your brain. Obsession was the right word
Fuck man as a guitar player i feel his loss, who would ever come up with a riff like Limo wreck, vocals aside( we all know he was a god) His guitar playing/songwriting is underrated The Guitar suffered a loss indeed. RIP Chris...
I never knew Cameron developed this riff! The statement still rings true. Chris developed some insane riffs and chord progressions that were extremely forward thinking.
@@eqx7168 Cameron also came up with the Mailman riff and a number of others. All 4 of them play guitar and have also brought guitar related material to the table, its great!
RIP Chris! i remember listening to this song in the car with my dad when i was a kid back in 1999, i didn't know what feeble meant, English is not my first language, my dad explained what feeble meant. Such a vivid memory, i even remember the road that we were driving on in Beirut.
All my favs are getting older..don't know what yall talking about but he sounds better than most newer artists. I expected him to be in a lower key but he can still hit the notes. A bit more choosy which ones to go after but still hella rocks
Dude great footage! I love that you got a bit of everyone doing their thing and so clear. Bless you, sincerely. I never got to see them live so this means a lot.
His voice is still amazing, but age and extra curriculum activities certainly have weakened the strength. He can't sustain those highs with the same intensity as he did back in the day. If I were trapped on an island with one record, it'd be this one. Still one of my favorite voices of all time. Thanks for the video.
Cebrin Pitts I know exactly what you are saying. He played westfest here in NZ back in march. The first song they played was spoonman and he was a little off key and weak in the voice. Soundgarden even played BIRTH RITUAL!!! I jizzed my pants. Being wanting to hear that song live since I heard it the first time. He sang the whole song in lower pitch and less power and it wasn't the same. Having said that, it was still amazing seeing SG live again. I loved the show and wish the concert was longer than 2 hours.

Cebrin Pitts %100..his voice of course faded with age. I am sure that it wasn't just one single reason why. Drugs, smoking, killing his vocal cords. A bunch of factors
epic,./ kims harminics are are are a blessin5g for anyone who knows the 5guitar and this son5g is so special,./ and chris is p[]robably my favourite vocalit,./
Honestly, that was awesome until the very end. Cornell just couldn't do it. But, after all these years I'm grateful these dudes are still doing what they do and I can watch videos like this in 1080p. Respect.
RIP Chris Cornell. You'd have hated modern rappers flexing with fancy cars and money. I bet there would be songs about them written by you, that would mock them, remind them of their mortality, while also being one of the greatest song composed with the greatest vocals...
I am obsessed with this song... Explosive chorus
Mateus Escossio me tooo!!!!! I listen to this nonstop and it makes me so sad but it also gives me pleasure. Very strange. I miss Chris ❤️
Me too. Forgot about it, then rediscovered yesterday and have listened/watched at least 10 different versions.
I’ve literally played this song all week. The drums are so sick
Me too dude

The amount of talent in SG was incredible. They were the OGs

Shut up. The underrated word is the most cliche over used ...
Cornell is a rock god..
He is THE rock god
Matt Cameron's guitar riff. What a band...
They never lost it as a band. Magnificent
Bullshit. No misses there my friend. That fucking rocked my friend
this bass line
This song is so eerily prophetic. Obsessed with it lately. God, I miss Chris and Soundgarden.
oh its 100 percent about 911
one of my fav riffs in my life
damn he sounds awesome here.
Man how I'm gonna miss this guy. Rest In Peace Chris...
He was still so youthful and full of passion. To think 3 years from this video, he'd be gone 😢
To me it sounds even better than before
Damn... :(
It's so weird to think that he isn't here anymore
they were such a good band, god... this world is not fair

I want a voice like that !!
Same here. Dude can't be replaced. What a legend he was and still is. 5 damn years.... It feels like a bad dream.

Best band ever gutted he's gone too soon...was looking forward to 20 years of live performances to come.. R.I.P. bigfella

Album: Superunknown
Tears of the feeble
Hands of the slaves
Skin of the mothers
Mouths of the babes
Building the towers
Belongs to the sky
When the whole thing comes crashing down
Don't ask me why
Don't ask me why
Under the shelf
The shelf from the sky
Two eyes, two suns
Too heavenly blinds
Swallowing rivers
Belongs to the sea (c)
When the whole thing washes away
Don't run to me
I'll be going down
For the rest of the slide
While the rest of you harvest the gold
And the wreck of you
Is the death of you all
And the wreck of you is the break and the fall
I'm the wreck of you
I'm the death of you all
I'm the wreck of you
I'm the break and the fall
Under the red break of the lights
Heroes in the stretches
Inch to the site
Blowing the pieces
Belongs to the wind
When the whole thing blows away
I won't pretend, no
I'll be going down
For the rest of the ride
While the rest of you harvest the souls
And the wreck of you
Is the death of you all
And the wreck of you
Is the break and the fall
I'm the wreck of you
I'm the death of you all
I'm the wreck of you
I'm the break and the fall
Under the red under the lights
Lies the wreck of you for the rest of your life
And the wreck of you
Is the death of you all
And the wreck of you
Is the break and the fall
I'm the wreck of you
I'm the death of you all
I'm the wreck of you
I'm the break and the fall
While the rest of you harvest the gold
While the rest of you harvest the souls

also he sings with such intensity that it would be hard to keep that up after these years.
he can hit the notes, but not as much oomph or sustain as in the 90's.. still though the 2 times i saw SG since they reunited were amazing
RIP Mr. Limo Wreck
Thanks you king ❤️❤️❤️❤️
everyone wants to hate but this sounds pretty good to me...
seriously - 20 years after the album was released, this sounds pretty freakin' amazing.
Hate?? Only LOVE over here!!

There's no Doubt
Great work on Pearl Jam 2.
But...he is a Soundgarden Drummer.

in 1996 Chris began to change his voice and the tone of the songs. it was absolutely impossible to continue singing that way for a long time

I just don't get it.... He can't sing these songs anymore. He just can't. Why does he keep doing it?
Because it was a fucking badass song, you wont get it.
WTG u won!!!!! You r the biggest idiot of all time.
Let's hear you sing it then. I think he sounds fine
He sounds pretty good, its perfectly normal to have a voice crack when singing especially when you get older
@@jpegmilitia It's not about the cracking. It's about it all being out of key.
