I rented a 911 Turbo S one day on Turo. My jaw was down to my chest at how unbelievably, ridiculously, outrageously, mind-blowingly, and heart-palpatingly FAST this friggin car is. I was dumbfounded. That was my first time driving a supercar and I was beside myself. That thing is a missile, and I was left with the impression of just being surprised it could even be legal to own such a weapon. How anyone could think this thing might need a tune or more horsepower is certifiably insane. This thing would woosh the air out of my lungs and into its air-sucking monster of a 6 cylinder engine and catapult me into illegal speeds at any moment like a Navy jet off a carrier, and it's all this beast wanted to do. I understood how something like this could replace a massive drug addiction in both emotions and drained bank account. It was glorious, and mental, and thrilling, and blistering. And expensive to own and maintain. You rich guys and girls sure are blessed to drive such toys on a daily basis. But for everyone else, yes, you absolutely must rent one for a day. It is worth every penny. Just thinking back on those accelerations is like reliving the fun. My god that thing was great.
Their faces driving this for the first time was my face as well. I had so much fun watching you guys enjoy this car. It's just mind-boggling. And sexy. And fast. And beautiful. And special. And I swear we were treated different when having pulled up in a 911 Turbo S. You walk away from it and look back at it, because it's hard to believe this is your real life. A dream car. A dream experience.
