This Sig P320 Professional 9mm is one of the greatest handguns innovated for law enforcement and military personnel today. I just ordered this gun and took it to the range to shoot. Fresh out of the box I shot a perfect score 100% and qualified to carry this firearm on duty. This technology is spot on from the grip, sights, apex trigger, weight, balance, magazine capacity, and other mechanics in general. The gun shoots smooth. There were no issues with the gun. All ammunition fed flawlessly. There were no failure to feeds, extract, nor light primer strikes. Everything about this gun was perfect in my opinion. I tried to get the gun to jam it wouldn't. I tried to miss my target on purpose I couldn't. When I shot this gun it is safe to say it didn't do anything it shouldn't. It's extremely accurate and it withstood my department standards for a reliable service pistol. The gun is very easy to field strip. The recoil is manageable. Exactly where you are aiming is where you hit your target. This is one handgun I trust with my life while on a tour of duty. I recommend this handgun for all law enforcement agencies as well as military personnel. It's cost effective and will be a great invest for anyone who wants a quality firearm.
I bought a P320 a week ago. In that short time I have put hundreds of rounds through it. It is accurate, easy to shoot, and man that trigger is more like my 1911s than any striker fired pistol I have ever owned or shot! I Absolutely love the Beretta 92 and have shot it for over 20 years, but my short time with the P320 allows me to see why the U S military made the switch. The P320 is one of the best pistols I have ever shot. I am 57 and that is long list of pistols.
My duty gun is now the P320 Carry 9mm....still waiting on my P320SC for off duty concealed carry. Great pistol! My agency is moving to the P320 9mm for police academy cadets and is also an option for tenured officers as we purchase our own weapons. We previously had a .40 cal standard.
+Bjorn Ironsides The FBI did significant study that showed that there was no significant difference in the wound channels of a 9mm, .40 cal or even .45 cal. Many people shoot the 9mm better than with larger caliber firearms, plus they are available in higher capacities. Overall multiple shots, better placed is more important than Bullet size. The P320 in 9mm is a great shooting gun and I have had no issues with it after about 800 rounds of range and duty ammo.
+Bill Staney True, yes, and no disputing it from me. Just want to go on record saying that not every person experiences that "improvement". After years of shooting 9mm, I actually shoot more quickly with accuracy using the .40 S&W. The only time that didn't hold true was using 9mm subsonic ammo....the .40 is NATURALLY subsonic, so I never get as much "snap" as I did with the 9mm. Can't say it was the gun: both are P226. So....larger caliber doesn't necessarily mean more recoil. I moved to the .40 not because of ballistic gel testing or to follow the FBI (unlike many departments); I made the switch because it's more easily controllable, hence more accurate for fast strings, for me. Just thought I'd put that out there. 'Cause I agree fully with your statement about bullet placement! Being said, think I'll have to try the 320 at the range :-)
This pistol has totally blown me away!!! To be honest i haven't touched my Glocks since i bought my first 320 and now i have three of them!!! Sig Sauer does it again!!!!
Love my Sig P320c, I bought it in the 9mm and I bought a 40 upper they both shoot very well but the 40 is becoming my favorite. Sig Sauer did a wonderful job on this one.
I used to love my P320 compact! I had bought my gf a pink Beretta nano and she didn't like it much and when she shot the P320 (she loved the short reset) it became hers -_- So I'll purchase/order another one this Friday but this time with a threaded barrel. :")
+GonzalezEzekiel I have both the Beretta Nano (pink too) and the P320 and I too am not too fond of the Beretta. It pinches my trigger finger so not to fun to shoot. I love my Sig. And my S&W 38, and my Ruger 38 and 22, and...
I loved my P320 9mm Carry so much I bought another one in full Flat Dark Earth. Wonderful shooting pistols that are absolute tack drivers right out of the box. Big fan that the grip modules are so inexpensive and come in a wide variety. Would love to see a Legion version of the P320...
+chetoflep The trigger was excellent right out of the box, but the contour and angle of the Apex trigger just work better for me to break a clean shot. I also switched to the small grip module. The trigger upgrade is simple to do and only costs around $50 and in my opinion made a great gun fit me even better. Now I'm tempted to send one of mine to Gray Guns for some more trigger work.
Going to have to check this one out. I have absolutely love my P250 40 s&w as my EDC, I love the confidence of the DAO trigger over my P229 and P224. Don't get me wrong the P224 and P229 are great but that long smooth P250 trigger makes a great safe EDC, IMHO.
+Ed Riley I have a P250SC as well as the P320. You are right about the P250 being a safe EDC. You'll find the P320 will feel safe too. The difference is the shorter trigger pull.. The P250 is my bedroom gun now while the P320 goes with me. :-)
Iys about damn time you all made a video about this Firearm. I have ow ed on these grear guns scence they hit the Market. I have to say it is the best gun I own at the moment. Shot great right out of the box. Nice job Sig Saurer. You've out done yourself on this Firearm.
Love my P320CA-45-BSS. It pained me to do it but it traded in my Sig P220-45 Extreme. I now conceal carry in my new Crossbreed SuperTuck with combat cut. Next purchase Sig R556xi-16B-C.
320SC is the most comfortable pistol I've carried with IWB holster (Ozark). I love my M11-A1 and DA/SA but practicing more with striker to get used to it.
I have 2 P320s; 9mm and .40 S&W in the Carry Model, and have a 9mm in subcompact on layaway as well. It was only $20 more than the conversion kit. So i went for it. It does not have night sights on it though. had planned on putting some Tru-Glo TFX sights on it but now I'm thinking I'll putt the Xray3 sights on it.
I recently purchased a 40 S&W P320C in OD and have already put 500 + rounds through it and love this firearm. The trigger is excellent out of the box which allows me to accurately shoot this gun easily (normally shoot series 70 1911's only). Having tried numerous other striker fired handguns over the years, I am not a fan of the other makes especially Glock's due to their triggers. Also the modular design of the P320 has to be one of the most ingenious design concepts since it allows better adjustment of the grip size by replacing the entire lower frame instead of just a back strap (that really does not help at all). The only problem I have with Sig is that it takes far too long for them to release for sale new items that they announce such as the 45 ACP conversion kits and threaded barrels for using with suppressors. 22 LR conversion in the works? Hope so.
I got mine in the compact 3 weeks ago and have put 500 rounds through it with no problems. Only thing is they are selling so fast if you like it when you see it buy it. Or you'll have to order 1. I let a friend use mine and he wanted his own. Had to order 1.
+Atlanta Light I have a P320 (Compact Medium size) and use a shoulder holster from black hills leather (holster model # BH9DOT , without the belt loops), working out great.
Wait..You can buy a full size and switch the frame to a carry size with the full size slide?! Is there a significant difference in grip size between a med full size and med compact?!
I am surprised that the Navy Seals went with the Glock 19, maybe the P320 is just too new and unproven in service, I am sure they will take another look in the future.
+Edward van halen Personally, from past history, the military does not like firearms with a magazine disconnect. If the magazine is lost or damaged while in battle, you have a hand striking tool. No longer a firearm. Law enforcement on the other hand has embraced the magazine disconnect. There are some documented saves where an officer ejected the magazine from the pistol that was being wrestled away from them and kept the officer from being shot with his own weapon. I agree with the military, the magazine disconnect is a deal breaker for me. While I understand the safety issues mentioned, it is always the handler who is ultimately responsible for the safety. Trying to outhink the half wit who does not properly clear their weapon before cleaning/dis-assembly just takes what could have been a great weapon and placed training wheels on it for all. All said and done this is my opinion.
+sgtbland Thanks. I Likened the term to the S&W magazine disconnect. I was unsure and even the gun store clerk said it was. Should have handled it myself. Went to another gunshop, handled the pistol myself instead of just asking the question and, the striker will fire without a magazine inserted. Have been battered about the head by P320 fanboys about being a dumb ass for asking the question on their forum. Guess one companies magazine disconnect is not equal to another's. Thanks for the response. And now I know!
I own a full size 320 in 45 acp, a full size 40 S&W and a compact 9mm. I guess you could say I like the P320. I don't buy into all this crap about the 320 being an unsafe weapon. I think it came from butt hurt Glock people because they lost out in the Army selection. You guys have an absolute winner with the P320.
They keep going on about not having to pull the trigger to disassemble the weapon. Am I the only one to point out that every pistol they make, which has the takedown lever in that position on the frame, likewise does not need the trigger pulled? It's a COMMON FEATURE for almost all Sigs, and one that I've always liked.
+Dave M Sig already said we won't be able to convert our 9mm to .45 ACP with just the slide, barrel and grip module. :( The actual steel chassis is slightly different for the .45 ACP and thus requires a whole new gun. I was very saddened by this news as that'd be the only conversion I'd consider (the .45 ACP that is).
+Lukáš Duběda That really upsets me. This was the reason I bought the P320 in 9mm and the .40 change kit. Sig told me that the .45 kit would be coming out. I have the emails saying so, so now the Sig is lying?
I don't want to claim anything officially as I do not speak for the company, but I read an interview (somewhere, possibly TTAG?) saying that the .45 MIGHT eventually be available, but for not, it's incompatible with the main housing module. :( I too am very dissappointed in these news. :(
I wish the size change kits wouldn't be so spendy. I love my p320 but I jumped in expecting the size swap kits to have a lower price so it wasn't almost like buying another gun.

If you all offered a subcompact frame with the exact same trigger guard as the compact and fullsize I would purchase that conversion kit right now as it would fit my holsters.
I do like the p320 great service gun but I don't see people buying for collecting like the Beretta 92 or the colt 1911.. time will tell but the gun just looks too plain or generic.
I know Why Sig came up with this Pistol. The Navy SEALS are going to drop the Sig P226 NAVY edition 9mm pistol. They are going to use the Glock 19 Generation 3 striker fired pistol in 9mm of coarse. So maybe they are trying to get another SEALS contract with the P320.
+Johnny Nightrider they are going to use the gen 4 glock 19. Glock has a 15 year with the Navy so i don't see sig coming aboard anytime soon with the Navy seal.
This gun is trash. I shot 300 rounds through it and it had a major malfunction rendering it inoperable. I'm glad it happened on the range and not at work. I would not trust my life to this weapon. sig use to be great not anymore.

One of the best striker fired pistols on the market. I'm seeing more and more of them in competition, too.
+JibaroYak Yes this is one of the best channels, they need to do more videos! Learning is continuous .
Bjorn Ironsides
Thanks much!
Long as you don't drop it! Lol, safe...

What holster do you have?
+Turner Humphrey I use a Safariland Level III Mod 6360-4502-131 which accommodates my Streamlight TL1 HL light
+Bill Staney is that the only light it works for?
The P320 and a good AK are on my list for 2016.
And this is exactly why I bought one. Thanks Sig for a fantastic firearm.
This pistol has totally blown me away!!! To be honest i haven't touched my Glocks since i bought my first 320 and now i have three of them!!! Sig Sauer does it again!!!!
You guys have a winner here. I think you are going to give G a run for their money. Semper Fi!
Love my Sig P320c, I bought it in the 9mm and I bought a 40 upper they both shoot very well but the 40 is becoming my favorite. Sig Sauer did a wonderful job on this one.

+Jason Sisk
Try upgrading the trigger with an Apex trigger, sweet upgrade.
+idjr Already done! Apex flat-faced trigger kicks serious ass.
+Jason Sisk I thought the trigger on it was already amazing, the Apex is even better?
+chetoflep The trigger was excellent right out of the box, but the contour and angle of the Apex trigger just work better for me to break a clean shot. I also switched to the small grip module. The trigger upgrade is simple to do and only costs around $50 and in my opinion made a great gun fit me even better. Now I'm tempted to send one of mine to Gray Guns for some more trigger work.
+Jason Sisk since you switched your grip, how are your holsters adjusting? I wanted to get the small grip for the summer months
Going to have to check this one out. I have absolutely love my P250 40 s&w as my EDC, I love the confidence of the DAO trigger over my P229 and P224. Don't get me wrong the P224 and P229 are great but that long smooth P250 trigger makes a great safe EDC, IMHO.

for EDC ... thoughts?

Great gun, we love our compact 9 !
This gun looks awesome. I will have one, one day.
Sig !!! Please make a P290 size striker fired. I have all the P320s and love them. Please tell me you'll make one.
Love my P 320 Compact.

What kind of holster options do you have? Do they ship with the paddle holster like the 250 did?
+Atlanta Light
I have a P320 (Compact Medium size) and use a shoulder holster from black hills leather (holster model # BH9DOT , without the belt loops), working out great.
***** Thanks for the info.
+Atlanta Light
No problem. Oh and, the P320 does come with a paddle holster.
+idjr Since when? I just bought the 320 w/threaded barrel and was no holster with it. Padded plastic case but no holster.
Fascinating!
My only problem is my right thumb keeping the slide from locking back on the last shot.
for those who carry the p320 carry with a light, what level 3 holster are you using?
Wait..You can buy a full size and switch the frame to a carry size with the full size slide?! Is there a significant difference in grip size between a med full size and med compact?!
Can you please address the failed drop testing I've seen the past couple days.
Duty holsters for compact?

Hey sig what's the eta of Flat Dark earth 320c small frames?
I own a full size 320 in 45 acp, a full size 40 S&W and a compact 9mm. I guess you could say I like the P320. I don't buy into all this crap about the 320 being an unsafe weapon. Does anyone know if Sig sells the FCU on its own? I need one for my P320 sub-compact exchange kit.
Would be nice if they get the .45 change kit out. It's been promised for months and yet nothing.
+Dave M Sig already said we won't be able to convert our 9mm to .45 ACP with just the slide, barrel and grip module. :( The actual steel chassis is slightly different for the .45 ACP and thus requires a whole new gun. Is there any other sights I can put on my P320.?
Trijicon HD , I LOVE THEM. They light up in darkness unbelievable brightness !!!! Size #8
as far as i can tell any set of sights that fit on the p220,224,226,227,229 and the rest of their classic line up will fit the 320
There are tons of after market sight options. Just search for what you like and changes are they have some that will fit the 320
What light did the director have ?
At :26 it kinda looks like an inforce apl?
Thanks
I wish the size change kits wouldn't be so spendy. I love my p320 but I jumped in expecting the size swap kits to have a lower price so it wasn't almost like buying another gun.
Sig Sauer. love the p320, but id love it even more with a lower bore axis.
Need a 5" IDPA version like the MP pro. I will keep waiting nothing is better then Sig,
Love and carry my P320C
One of these days Sig will discover bore axis and how all that works.

Caliber conversion is overrated but all the other perks are spot on. One criticism: If your subcompact frame fit holsters for the compact frame you all would corner the market, but unfortnuately you let glock and smith owners have that luxury but not you all. Spoilers: its drop safe now!
Sigs are such nice guns
and apparently no ones in charge of the channel either
Here I am a week later. No reply. Typical. That VP9 looks interesting.
+molon labe
No shit there wasn't a reply. All you did was criticize them and expect them to come crawling over to you. Buy the VP9 and shut up.
+LastCasualty haha 😂
Are civilians worthy to own this pistol? I'm not LE/MIL elite class.
+oogabooga72 What kind of question is that? Can old grandmas own the P320? Hell yeah! And we can shoot it too!!! :-)
I feel like I heard Glock many times in the video lol
0:04 wtf?! 😂😂
Sig Sauer the best guns wolrd!!!!"
Someone just go ahead and say the "G" word... rhymes with "lock"
Well played sir.
Too bad I live in commifornia...
Women shooting a gun the recoil is so exaggerated!
I remember when the P320 came out...someone dropped it and it took everyone out in the whole room.
What would I like to see in a striker fired pistol? A Glock.
Haven't touched my glocks since i bought my first 320!!!!
Sig p320 feels better to me
Those grips are absolutly horrid..hold the gun properly plse!!!
This gun is trash. I shot 300 rounds through it and it had a major malfunction rendering it inoperable. I'm glad it happened on the range and not at work. I would not trust my life to this weapon. sig use to be great not anymore.
Surfsup tell that to the us army who just made it their new official side arm
