That's actually a very rumor driven misconception. They weren't feuding here. That didn't start until Fate of the Furious (8th movie). This was actually just an extremely awkward directional move that did and still does confuse everyone who watches it.
@vin9791 well ejection seats are real and any dukes of Hazzard fan would say a stunt guy could make that jump. For me it was in this movie Dom basically flies through the air, catches Letty, smashes his back on a windshield and nothing, not even a rip in his shirt. Like he has super powers now
5 and 6 were MY personal favorite FAST FIVE took the baby step to turn the series in a different direction. Raising the action but not yet towards "avengers". A good amount of PRACTICAL EFFECTS. Fast And Furious 6 topped the action from FIVE , still using a good amount of PRACTICAL EFFECTS! Flip car, tank , Climactic finale( yes , ridiculously long runway. But kick ass fight scenes and action that looked good, compared to video game looking CGI marvel crap!) Furious 7 should have been the final film. 8, 9, and X. Hardly watched them a second time. 5 and 6 were MY favorite. The Fast And The Furious 2 Fast 2 Furious Tokyo Drift Fast And Furious Were cool But FAST FIVE, got me pumped/ hyped up!! When they were bringing the crew and planning the heist, i knew bigger S-T was gonna go down! I even wanted to be in the movies MYSELF, part of the crew/ fast family! Lol. 5 and 6 are MY favorite
So about a year after this movie came out I had a contract to prepare the food for this exact plane same one they used in this movie. You would not believe how big it is in real life it actually opens up from both ends, so the cockpit also opens up and you can let transport in through that end as well. It is an insanely large plane.
I believe them driving at the beginning of the movie was a continuation from the end of fast five when Brian challenged Dom to a race again same time getting to the hospital in time for Mia giving birth
@42:09 "how can you make sure the wheel stays straight" A car actually WANTS to go straight ;) Try it in your own car at low speeds, just let go of the wheel and you'll see it center itself if your wheels are aligned properly (if not, it might pull either left or right, in which case, that's a good indication you should get an alignment done) Obviously, variations in the road will impact how straight a car goes, but in general if you're driving on asphalt, if you don't hold the wheel, the car will go straight
