People complaining about lullaby versions really need to get over it. This version actually in my opinion works well with the tone of the anime. I would actually enjoy it if the next season would have her version as like a change in tone to symbolize How the main character changed both physically and mentally with his most impacting traumatic experience dealing with the parasites. I can't describe how much I love this. The anime is amazing, and I already really enjoyed the opening. with that being said this cover takes an upbeat, intense song that represents the action and struggle within the show, and changes it into a heart wrenching piece that goes beyond the confines of the source material in the same way the meaning and lessons does for the show itself.

Dear Amanda Lee, when i first saw that this song was from Parasyte, i was skeptical because i dont really like the show, but when i heard this song it drove me to tears because of how beautiful it was. Every song release, you always blow my mind and drive me to tears. I understand the meaning behind each and every song you release. I cant wait to see what you have in store for the future and cant wait for you to drive me to tears again. I would love to meet you but sadly i cant afford Patreon, me being only 13. Well, for me I prefer it simply because I can't imagine her voice suddenly going screamo, lol. But apart from the screamo middle part, it would have been good to stick with the original. Unravel was kinda needlessly slow.

the show parasyte is really important to me because during the time it came out a good friend of mine and I would watch episodes together and it wasn't short after that she passed in a car accident. hearing this is bittersweet, you did a damn good job putting the song in your own style but the feels hit me hard

This is a beautiful and inspirational version of the song. I often listen to the original to amp myself up to get stuff done. This version is like the cool down at the end of a workout... still feeling familiar... just not as intense and heading into the opposite direction. Seriously great job.
