I really hope to see these guys play in the US someday. Probably my favorite band from Japan and I've seen footage and they seem to kick ass at shows. Just a very good, unique band bringing some difference to a moderately stale genre.

厳密に言うと、この曲はアニソンとして作った訳じゃなくて、アニメの制作会社がアーティストを探してきてアニメの主題歌のタイアップを依頼する。
多種多様なジャンルのアーティストを起用するから、アニメを通じてメインストリームではないニッチな音楽に触れられるというのはあるね。
例えばハンターハンターの主題歌のgalneyrusなんかはゴリゴリのパワーメタルバンドだけど、そういうのも一緒くたにアニソンという枠組みに入るのが面白い。
ちなみにこのバンドはポストハードコアというジャンルで、ラウドロックのフェスとかによく出てきます。

最近、SiMやcoldrainを聴き出して、そしたらよくこのバンドの名前をよく聞くから、調べて一番再生されとる曲を聴いたら、俺が小学生の頃に好きだった曲でまたこうやって巡り会えてマジで嬉しい。小学生やったから英語とか全然分からんかったけど、ずっとメロディは覚えとったからこれを開いた瞬間鳥肌やばかった。
I really hope to see these guys play in the US someday. Probably my favorite band from Japan and I've seen footage and they seem to kick ass at shows. Just a very good, unique band bringing some difference to a moderately stale genre.
