This is a great presentation on how to use Google slides. It really helped a lot. I will use it for my masters presentation. One thing to note is that this presentation is two years old and some of the language has changed. Master slide is now called theme.
Amazing course I knew nothing about google slides before watching your two videos now I am quiet confident that I know much more than I require thank you very much for such a wonderful course.
Thank you, Joe and Google. I learned a lot n it's pretty helpful with studies presentation, also I think I can incorporate this in my tuition class when I want my students to view a particular video.
amazing tutorial. I am overjoyed. Will surely support this channel. Which recording tool are you using by the way? The way it is annotating the screen is just soo smooth, I think I fell in love at first sight lol.
Great presentation! Thank you. I've been using Google slides for years and there were definitely a few new takeaways in this. Very clear and informative tutorial.
Hi, Thanks for the video! It was nice to learn some new functions. A few of the commands have new names now (e.g. Master is called Theme Builder now). Not sure if you could like to add notes to help new viewers. Thanks again!
This is a great tutorial. I do have a question. Is it possible to use custom colors on charts in Google Slides or do we have only the fixed GS color palette to choose from? As far as I can tell, it is possible to use custom colors on charts created in PowerPoint, but not in Google Slides. I've been looking all over for the answer to this question for a project I'm doing with specific color requirements. Thanks for your help.
Great Video. Im having trouble finding the view master and edit master tab. Iv'e clicked on both "View" and "Slide" and don't seem to get an option for a master mode. Any suggestions?
Question 2: When a friend shared a PowerPoint file, I uploaded it to Google Slides and later I could not make comments on a random slide? Is that because the person who created the PowerPoint file has locked it?
How can I go back to the previously viewed slide that had the hyperlink to a linked slide? For example: If i'm on slide 5 and click a link to go to slide 14 that is a linked slide from a different presentation and then want to go back to slide 5, how do I do that?
Thank You so much, I have learn a lot. Love to learn more about animation in slides and creating interactive games for my students. specially during distance learning.
Thanks! this is really useful and I have learnt a lot. One thing I'd like to know is if there is a way of adding the same animation to a number of pictures on the same slide without doing one by one. I'd be thankful if you could let me know as this takes such a long time to do one by one.
you can select all of them but you cant do different animations for all of them, to select them all just click somewhere blank on the slide and drag so that all the stuff you want to animate is selected, then you can animate them all at the same time
Great Course, thank you! Haha good ol' 2020, before people got triggered by the term "master" and decided to ban it in IT and communication technology. Now renamed in Google Slides, very politically correct :D
Note: The Slide -> Edit master has been renamed to Slide -> Edit theme
Thank you for the great tip!
