So do u take cooled boiled water with you on the flight in the bottles? Isn't that heavy? Or do u get used to it? Or can you ask the flight attendant for hot water? I hope you can help me. Thanks

Hey! Thanks for watching and reaching out. Okay, so to get through airport security you cannot take water. I would always empty out the flask at the last top list before (just like any drinking water) and then once through security, I look for a cafe or food shop and ask them to fill the flask with hot water or as soon as we get on the plane (normally families are given priority boarding) I give the flask to a flight attendant and ask them to fill it up so that we can be independent as they get others on the flight and do everything else. Hope this helps and if you have any other questions, fire away 😊

Is it ok to add cooled boiled water to formula? I thought you had to add boiling water to formula to sterilise it?
    Thanks

Hello, yes you can add cooled boiled water to your formula and then warm up the bottle using a flask, such as the Tommee Tippee flask just before a feed. The important thing to note, is to only mix the formula with the water (should always have been boiled first) when you are ready to feed. Otherwise is it not suitable to feed to your baby, it kinda goes off so to speak. In the morning I would boil bottled water, let it cool down and prepare my 4 bottles for the day. Then prepare and store my formula is a dispenser. Half an hour before feeding time, I would find a cafe or restaurant and ask them to fill my flask with boiling water, so I'm ready to go when George gives me the signal. Does that help?

      @@GemmaGeorge thanks, loved your video.
I'm guessing you only need to warm as an option as our baby is used to room temperature bottles anyway 😄

It depends where you are travelling to? Evian is a safe bet. Or my article lists what you need to look for on the label of the water :) gemmaandgeorge.com/travel-advice-bottle-feeding-baby-abroad/#BOTTLED_WATER

Check the PH levels/minerals on the water label - we avoid Evian as it leaves minerals in the water after boiling. Desani is okay if you can get it
