In this clip, Jason Lee spoke about leaving the foster care system and moving back in with his mother when he was 14, and he explained that while he missed her after 5 years, he also had animosity toward her. Jason explained that this led him to seek out and form relationships with his father’s side of the family, and he also spoke about how his mother was verbally abusive. Speaking more about the abuse, Jason detailed how his mother reacted to his brother’s death by telling Jason that it should’ve been him.
Moving along, Jason spoke about Michael Jackson coming to his elementary school in Stockton after a gunman shot and killed 5 kids and himself, and he also wounded 32 others. Jason explained that Michael told his fellow students that their lives mattered, and Jason added that he fell in love with Michael after that day. Jason then went on to speak about how he called Michael’s studio every day as a kid, trying to get in touch with him. Jason revealed that he developed a relationship with Michael’s assistant after calling so much, and one day Michael called him back. Jason then detailed their conversation, including Michael telling him that he was “special,” and Jason added that he never called Michael again. I met Michael when I was a child. He attended a child’s funeral I was at. He didn’t know the child but heard about their death in the news. The mother threw herself and her kids off the Vincent Thomas bridge in Long Beach, CA. Michael contacted the bereaved father and wanted to attend. He gave the father money. I remember he was very kind

I read an interview with Macaulay Culkin a few years back and he reaffirmed that MJ never laid a finger on him, nor did he witness MJ exhibit any sexual behaviors toward other children. I appreciate that he shared his experience with MJ. It has always puzzled why people thought MJ was so docile when he grew up with nine siblings in a two bedroom house.
He's right about time and opportunity. I'll never forget as a 11yr old kid one summer (2001) I started drawing everyday so much so that I created locations, vehicles, and characters and put everything into a folder. One day while watching cartoon network I got an idea. I went on their website and found the only contact email they had. I scanned some of my drawings and emailed this guy with a back story. About a week later I get a reply back he was actually interested in meeting with me to discuss what I had... Until I told him I was 11 and we could meet at the McDonald's by my house 😂😂😂😂.

Pedophiles don't 'hurt' children per se. They gain the trust of the adults and children, then frame the act of sex as 'loving.' They make the victim feel complicit in their abuse, and the victim being so young might actually feel like he and the pedo are bonding. I'm glad he told that story about the school shooting. I remember it being in the newspaper about MJ showing up and all he did to help. There are many more stories like that where Mike would just help where he could but media threw those stories aside for sensationalism.

My sister had leukemia as a child and got a wish, from the make a wish foundation.. her 2 choices were to go on a 6 months waiting list to meet Michael at Neverland, or go to Disney world in Orlando Florida, immediately.. she chose Florida. I cried my eyes out. I was a 9 year old little boy back in 1990 who's ultimate dream just got crushed, and I knew I'd never be able to meet him.. that was the only shot in hell. 30 years later I realize that I shouldn't have been selfish, and I should have just been happy for her. But kids are dumb and so was I.

But like Jason Lee I too thought he was more friendly towards other people's children than he should havebeen and that ultimately hurt him and helped in his demiss. He had three children of his own and should have kept his friendliness there, legally and safely, he also had nieces and nephews, but he should have been more guarded with children outside the family.
