I just got my first set of welds 15x10 super singles for my 78 f150. Looking to polish them up so i bought a polishing kit from zephr. This video is a huge help thanks! I do need to sand some curb rash out as well as some dings though kinda worried about that.
i have a set of old school polished weld scorpios on my truck. they’re starting to get corroded they’re somewhat worse than this set u had. would this process work on badly oxidized rims?
Southwest MO, But I don't do it for work anymore as I'm out of college. I have a buddy in Pittsburg KS about 30 minutes from me that does it and he's damn good. He's one of 2 people I left touch my stuff

Is the primary cutting wheel a kwik cut wheel?
The first step I always use the most aggressive orange cutting pad you can use. (Not the orange and yellow, just orange)
@@GavinHuke is that the orange ruffy pad? If so what’s better the orange ruffy or the blue baron?
And do you use 10” or 8” pads?

No sir itll work pretty well, sanding may be needed if they are pitted
A lot of the big guys use mineral spirits to wipe down between cuts, have you tried that? Idk if it works better or worse
Yes that works great! I actually had just ran out before this video! It helps tremendously
Where are you located? If you’re relatively close, I may have some wheels I’d have you polish up
