Although cautious of the large screen on the Note 9, I test the case at several angles and at multiple heights you probably never have to deal with yourself. Now, this is what I call drop test! Most other TH-camrs I've seen are scared to even drop it from waist height, you straight up throw it in the air like you just don't care *starts singing*... I think I know what case I'm going to be buying for my Note 9!
*Important tip for anyone getting these cases:*
The Bixby button on the case may come out of the box a bit weird and depress your actual Bixby button, making it go off randomly by itself and your phone will become unusable as a result. Before you put your case on, turn your phone off, then put it on. Press the Bixby button. If it clicks like the power button, you're good to go. If it doesn't, take your case off, push the button on the case in with your fingernail for a couple minutes and out for another couple minutes, then try again. Should work fine. Rinse and repeat if it doesn't.
I use an early example of the case that was preordered in August and delivered in September so they might be okay out of the box now. I have no idea.
The case is great and protected my phone very well when I dropped it onto a hard floor after missing my pocket. If only the lens accessories were cheaper...

Great review and nice work on the Extreme drop testing. It really goes to show how much abuse these guards can take which is very impressive. I should be receiving my RhinoShield bumper guard and back protector tomorrow. I love seeing the blue color of my Note 8 but just can't go naked on it, this is a perfect match to display it. I dropped my S7 edge within the first month of getting it and I had a case on and the corner cracked! I was holding my breath the whole time watching this! Got a note 9 recently and by the 3rd day had the whitestone protector on and SO glad I did. I hate cracked and scratched screens!
got the cloud silver unlocked Note 9. i got the i blason case that has the built-in screen protector and it's come through 2wice for me so far but after watching this video i'm considering getting the bumper it did really well

Just giving you my quick experience with this case. I purchased the carbon fiber solid suit for the note 9 based 100% on your video and the drops/throws you tested it on. I must be one unlucky individual because, 2 weeks after getting the case, I dropped the phone from waist height (I'm 5'7) and it landed on the bottom right corner, then top right (on smooth concrete) and the screen cracked from bottom to top :-(. Such is life....255 bucks later to replace the glass....im looking for a better case now. Thank you for your reviews though.
case company should pay for your broken phone cause clearly the case was defective.

I have one of the crash guards...my only complaint is the dang thing is so slick I wish they would put some sort of texture on the outside of it too keep a hold of it better

I use my crashguard for my s9 plus with a dbrand skin and it works great! It can be a little tight so I have to be careful taking it on and off because the edges can wrinkle, but I can just blow dry it and rub it out. It's better then the back screen protector from rhinoshield which I find is really hard to apply. Love your videos!

Can u plz do a review on the Ringke cases for the note 9!!!! I love n got a rhinoshield solid suit but I don't like how the buttons aren't as text tile like the ones on the Ringke case but then again the Ringke doesn't feel as safe as the rhinoshield
I just got the crash guard for my note 10 and it's absolutely wonderful. I bought a few skins to switch out as they wear and it's perfect.
I have a note 10 but idk if the crashguard can save the 2 side of the phone ??

They have tempered glass screen protectors on Amazon that go all around. You can use that to protect the front and back.

For those who dislike the bixby you should try looking for some api that let you remap the key. There is ton of them out there. For example I remap my to double tap for flashlight and hold to mute/unmute

What you have before
Crash guard is dope, but I wish the sides were flat like the uag case.. it has a way better feel. The crash guard is more rounded which feels pointy in the hands if that make sense lol..

I use the crash guard(bumper case) on my s9plus and it hasn't cracked yet which is good but i have lots of tiny tiny chips on my bezel of my phone. must be due to tiny debris getting in there as the rubber edges shifts around.

The crash guard buttons are horrible. It needs a lot of pressure to go down. But it's still a solid case for protection
