    I’m only 23 and struggling everyday with neck arthritis. I’m not exactly sure what caused it but this has definitely helped more than any branded “neck pillows”, thank you so much

    AMAZING I've been looking into pillows for awhile trying to find one that'd suit me and being too nervous to buy sth expensive in case it doesn't work.. now I don't need to!! thrashing around at night way less, falling asleep and waking up so much more comfortable 🥰 Thank you!!!

    I am going to try this tonight, as I suffer badly with neck pain which also gives me really bad headaches. I have spent a lot of money on pillows and still have not found one suitable, I never seem to wake up feeling refreshed, will give this a try and hopefully it works as I am at my wits end with it all. I have got osteoporosis and this hs only happened since I got my dexa scan....I won't go on as I would be here all day!!!

    This is brilliant! Have been trying to find some way to support my neck. Support pillows aren't quite enough, or the neck support area is too wide for me, and my head ends up on it instead and I still have a tilt. Thanks!

    Many years ago, I bought one of those neck pillows in a dollar store. I was able to buy the last one. I wish I still had that pillow now. My neck hurts and my relative refuses to massage it for me.I will have to go to the doctor's office and see what they say.

    I'm desperately looking for a solution to my pillow issues. I've tried everything, with the possible exception of the bow tie method. In the past 20 years or so, I've spent hundreds of dollars trying to get a good night's sleep. in 1999, I had a surgical procedure to relieve pressure on the ulnar nerve in my left elbow. I'm left-handed. In 2002, I had the same procedure on my right elbow. I had to learn to sleep with one elbow or the other elevated for months each time. I also have some arthritic damage in my 5th vertebrae and a recurrent dislocation issue, primarily in my right shoulder. To top it off, I'm a side sleeper and I don't move in my sleep, at all, except to get up to use the bathroom, at which point, I turn to sleep on my other side. I'm in my 60's, and desperate for a good night's sleep. I won't medicate, and rarely consume alcohol. Is there any hope at all? I'm so tired of waking with a stiff neck and headache. Please, help me...

    And even if i do that, my shoulder will be rounded forward heavily. I have rather broad shoulders so laying on my side will cause pain regardless. And because I have a round back head, my neck is always floating in the air. This caused me to have arhtritis at age 30. At this point there are no days without pain

    Can you please help me. I can’t find anywhere to show how to make a pillow which would support my knee in bed. I wake up in the morning and can barely move for few hours. I don’t move around much during my sleep. Any advice gratefully accepted. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

    • @lucymacdonaldphysiotherapi3270
      @lucymacdonaldphysiotherapi3270  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on the cause of the knee pain but wedge shaped pillows can be good for between the legs when lying on the side or normal pillows if on your back. Make sure you get it checked out by a healthcare professional, we’d be happy to see you for a video consultation. I am a back sleeper. So when you tie the pillow and then you place your head on the pillow, does the back of your head not have full support? The sides do I know, but the back of your head would basically be laying flat on the mattress. I do have neck/shoulder issues that I’m working on. Maybe I’m not understanding it correctly. Thank you

    • @katiejon17
      @katiejon17 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Like the side position, you would have that second pillow. At 2:10 she quickly mentions “that second pillow” under your head when lying on your back.
