- Hey guys, hope you're all doing great!
So this year I want to learn every single song from The Most Hated EP and cover them (wish me luck lol). This is the first of many covers that will come to you, so, if you like this type of stuff, please follow along!

It may not be very difficult but it’s one of my favorites and the melodies give me chills

However, I did have record every single glue guitar harmony and arrangement (which was awfully difficult to figure hot by ear lol)

I believe that to make a good song (if its based from a musical instrument), its not just the complex chord shapes, the shredding. Just anything that you can think of even a simple melody would be a song

This is a really good and accurate cover; great attention to detail. I’m curious though, is the bend at 2:41 originally in the song? It sounds kind of dissonant to me. Incredible cover

No, it's not originally from the song. I played a harmonic in the 12 fret, starting with the note out of tune and using the whammy bar to bring it to the accurate note. That in-tune note is played by a synth/fx in the real song, but figured would be cool to play it in guitar as well, then just added the "pitch".

I just tweaked a bit Tim’s clean and lead presets that come stock with the plug-in

As @JitarPlayinVidjas said, I just made minor tweaks to Tim stock presets. For the first clean part I reduced the input gain and added a bit of mids (4th pickup position). For the second clean section I nearly took off the highs, added a bunch of bass and mids and upped the input gain (neck pickup only). For the lead sound I just added the multivoicer with a higher and lower octave with very low volume!
Bear in mind that most parts are doubled in stereo with Scott’s harmonies, so if you play it by yourself, it will most likely sound different!

I have a feeling people saying this is not difficult haven't played guitar very long lol. It's not very easy. I definitely can't play this song perfectly live.
I mean, it may not be the definition of “easy”, but if you compare it to the rest of Polyphia songs, this one is certainly easy.
not their easiest, i think thats all falls apart or memory but definitely easier than a lot of the rest
