Even before 0.16 update. My game significantly slows down when I browse my trader level 4 wares, switching fast between traders or rapid scrolling through my stash. This game is so broken
@imZate it definitely is not. We've gotten completely new audio systems multiple times. This is by far the best first implementation of audio we've gotten. It does have bugs but it's better than the rest on day one
Finally this explains it, I was looking at background tasks and all sorts, some raids fine then out of nowhere my frames more than half on every map and stay that way till i restart, this would be why
There has been issues with the hideout I've noticed recently. Some stations when upgrading are stuck in two states, I believe this is due to the fact that your friends can now visit your hideout. This could be causing issues FPS wise and the only fix I've come across for my issues is restarting the game. As for FPS degradation staying while outside of the hideout, lets put it like, you don't preload the hideout -> you load the hideout manually -> it takes it's toll on your PC (normally isn't drastic) -> you come across a new bug with one of the stations -> takes toll on PC (normally noticeable) -> leaving hideout does not unload this -> reset game if experiencing bug
Is it only Customs you can’t scav into?You can try the page file setting, but make sure you have the available space on an SSD. Set both values to 20480 (for 20 GB). Customs is the only map still giving me problems, but it works sometimes.

Hideout have always been weird. 2-3 years ago no game I had made my GPU coil whine, but entering the Hideout without capped FPS in Trakov made that coil whine loud af.
@@jogonbro It's not an issue, but it shows that the gpu has to work harder to run tarkov than any other game. It's like if I say "I had to redline my engine to get up this steep hill. I've never needed to use that much rpm" then you say "Well it's made to go to that rpm, that's why they set the limiter there." Like I know bro, that's not my point. My point is just that the hill is steep.

Im having micro stutters in almost every map except factory. The game is not smooth in any way, played 2 wipes ago with the same setup and the game ran smooth as butter. Running 5800x3d, 32gb ram 3600mhz and 4080 Super. Anyone having same issues?
I have 30fps on almost all lowest settings on 10700K with 3090 and 64GB of RAM, got a BSOD of Heap error due to Tarkov trying to dump almost 70GB of data.
let me make a guess , when bsg will respond to your ticket they will put the blame on your system. like your gpu or cooling issues etc , anything but admitting they have a prob
That's IF you were able to use recording software and send them a video of the bug. If you don't, they'll passive aggressively email you every single day asking for video proof and threaten to close the ticket.
I have to restart my game every 3 raids, I have a 4070, 32 gigs of ram, intel i79600 kf, and this wipe has been the absolute worst performance wise I get roughly 30-40 fps and on a massive amount of stutters and freezing
I think i finally found my pulsing fps issue. Only happened in fullscreen mode for some reason. Razer Synapse im pretty sure. or taking the checkmark off of windows fullscreen optimize for tarkov.

60% downscale in FSR3 on Quality, which I play all the time (in 1440p), sounds very bad. I just tested it and turned it off. Tbh on the fly I couldn't really notice a difference apart from the ghosting of trees in windy conditions. What I notice is the 30 FPS more when I activate it. On my rig and settings this mostly means around 100 instead of 70FPS and lighthouse and streets become at least playable with Hickups. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Has anyone had connection issues causing FPS drops in PVE (haven't tried any maps besides streets for this) To better explain ill play 1-2 raids with normal FPS on streets so the usual looking some places drop fps some don't and I go between 60-110 FPS till i get out with no connection issues or lag spikes, then i go in on my 2-3+ raids then sporadically the game will start putting the disconnecting icon up and sometimes including the latency/ping amount which starts increasing sometimes it only to like 300+ but usually its 70-100 before it fixes it self but one time it got up above 2000 before it slowly crawled back down and let me play, only fix ive had is rebooting EFT i will say i usually open the hideout at least once before raiding but its not the bug klem mentioned in this video
I have issues where the game totally freezes, not responding, 0% cpu usage and all...need to restart the game every time I extract/die as a PMC/scav. Freezes when loading hideout too. It can defreeze after x time but somehow I think it is related to sound system. After some random test, I try to open the windows volume mixer and it does not open too as if it was linked because they defreeze at the same time. Other programs worked well while these two did not. I think the overall problem with Tarkov is the way it is built vs all PC configurations possible running the game, it's weird like that.
When you go back to the menu from hideout it doesn't close the hideout. It just overlays the menu on top of it. You can literally see it through the clear parts of the menus and it moves around with your mouse still, lol. Maybe hideout is still running even while you're loading in?
Question: is anyone else not able to even load into Customs? My buddy has done a fresh uninstall/install and he still cannot fully load into a raid. Or even worse he’ll load in on my screen but not on his - then he’ll just die without even loading in at all. Any suggestions?

Have you ever heard of Lossless Scaling? is a program that "doubles, triples and even quadruples" the fps. I could make a video about, I had to use this program to run my Tarkov because I have a processor bottleneck and it was the only way to make the game "playable". Could you make a video configuring the app to have better performance and less input lag?
My fps has been at 40 or less since about last wipe, it played normally and even when playing SPT it was great, but when I updated the game on SPT for last wipe right before this wipe, it dropped like a dead body just full force smack on the ground terrible fps constantly while playing in raid, the menu ran at its max limit fine flawless its only when in raid does it be the most unbearable time to play. Nothing for my pc has changed to make it worse only make it better, and its only tarkov that has this issue I think its the Transit exfils that they added, bc as I said it ran fine until that update and its still dog shit. Im on low fps with nearly everything in the background turned off, no change only gets worse as the raid goes on, its not this bug as i cant play to upgrade anything, ive even uninstalled and reinstalled to different drives, still fking dog shit, it sucks cuz i really want to play but its like wiping my ass with sandpaper and i cant stop.

I just assume the little lag you get when opening lvl 4 traders is because the game has to load hundreds of items at the same time

this shit happened to me on reserve, I started the raid with 30 fps and by the time I was gunned down I was at 2 fps
Maybe this is why my scav load times is almost 9-12 minutes, in comparison to my pmc times less than 5 minutes.

hideout was always root of the evil, if you have some issues whatever it is, just restart the game, never go hideout, usually fixes it...

'fps 1' in eft console gives you a counter while in game
The overlay he's using could be CapframeX or RTSS + MSI Afterburner. Looks more like CapframeX?
