I think that lady from Sri Lanka does not have common knowledge about coconut. I am from Sri Lanka and it's a very common thing to work with coconuts in Sri Lanka as we live on an island. We don't break it into 3 or 4 pieces. Always it's two pieces. our life are really close with these things

There is a srilankan woman when he asked how you open the shell she was telling using knife and its separated to a 3 parts. What a joke we all Srilankan use knife to de shell the coonut but its only deviding to two not three or more parts.
Ok so going east in the pacific, people choose ripe coconut. Here in southeast asia we drink and eat coconut while it's green. The yellow/brown ones we use for cooking. But folks, whenever you get coconut juice, get it. It's good!
