Grimdark Future: How to play Eternal Dynasty

- In this video we go over all the units, tactics, and strategies for the eternal dynasty in Grimdark Future. Then at the end we have a 15000 point battle report.

I very much like the format - I definitely want to see more.
I have a Jackals army and a Robot Legions army, and would love to see them showcased,
Of the two, Robot Legions is a very different army than Eternal Dynasty, so seeing how they stack up against each other would be good.
Jackals are my go to army for actually playing, so very different from my Space Marines (Dark Angels, 5th Company Engineering: Badgerwing.)
I like this "Learn to Play" format a lot! I am not good at anything strategic so I need help with how to use stuff lol.

My vote goes to the Robot Legions (as I have just finished printing out 5,000 points of “humanoid” troops, and associated vehicles, support, and transport… :) ).

I'm glad you liked it. This format is absolutely for new players to see the options and for me to give some tactical thoughts on the army. Not great thoughts, I fully admit I am a smooth brained ork player :) But great news. The Jackals are drying and going to hit the table tomorrow for their how to play video.
@@WarbossFitz I loved the Jackals video as well, though I don't think that army is for me. Thank you for these. I eagerly await seeing your videos for my Eldar and Dark Eldar. (Not that I've played 40k in half a dozen rule books or so.)

The all in one style of the video really sells to me. I liked the FX in the battle report and the action angles on the shots - cool! Your narration was dramatic to the right degree for me. Also your models look so cool fitting the grimdark style!
Just two things: the army round up was too long for me. Too many options I almost immediately forgot. To me everyone can look up the entire army. maybe you could reduce this part to something that has more of your insights - special unit combos you mentioned that stood out to you to tinker an army around. Less info - more insight.
Secondly a minor thing to the battle report, it could use some more overview shots.
I was very entertained. This will be a cool series.

I also love the Dragon bike, especially after I finished painting it, I now want a second one in my army instead of an APC ( which I really don't like their model for the APC I'll probably use my Tau hovers vehicles for this army tbh )

What?! You are playing sisters with no Angels? What madness is this! The assault sisters and pistoleers are such beautiful models!
I haven't made them yet but, when the sisters get their learn to play episode....
@@WarbossFitz bet. Good to see more OPR content on YT. It's my favorite Tabletop war game. My sisters list right now is gonna be just Angels, warsuits, and tanks. I'm working on a conversion to turn my organ tank into a Death Metal (with a sister playing guitar on top with speakers) version based on the M-60 Ontos from Vietnam. The kit bash potential of these models is so sick.

Very much looks like a shooting army given how slow the melee options move. I actually quite enjoyed the style of battle report, I love that the bike just rammed in and it worked. Good showcase don't really think it told me how to play it particularly well. Man transports are so highly pointed for their job while not being nearly as cool as bringing a walker or similar.
One thing I must say tho, you really need a pop filter on your mic setup (or keep further from the mic) to defuse the breath on the mic. While somewhat ok on speakers it is rough on someone with headphones, that is some ASMR right there haha.
I did hear that when I went to editing it down. The way I have to record stuff is definitely cave man style for now. The next should be better now that I know that it's happening.
I'm more a fantasy player so for the fantasy side of things the mummified undead please :D!!!

absolutely. I'm going to to jackals for grimdark next while I am printing mummified undead and saurians for age of fantasy. I don't have many strictly OPR model armies I mostly used other 3d files. So I am still debating with myself if the first AoF game will be with one of my other armies as the opponent. Depends how fast I can get the armies off the printer.
