∙ Thomas once saved Carmine Falcone from death and operated on him on his kitchen table.
∙ During the Silver Age, Dr. Thomas Wayne wore a bat-themed costume for a party, where he took first place for the best costume.
∙ According to his son Bruce; "My father saved the lives of over four thousand people, one at a time… with his bare hands and his mind.”
∙ In the post-Flashpoint reality of Earth-2, Thomas Wayne appears as the new Batman somehow alive in as of yet unexplained circumstances six years after his son's death.

It's a good thing baby Kal-El was found by the Kents instead of the Waynes or he might have ended up traumatised along with Bruce when Thomas and Martha were killed. A normal traumatised kid like Bruce is bad enough but a traumatised superpowered kid could be dangerous. Kal/ Clark could have ended up like Brandon from Brightburn if that happened.

Great vid, but there were some key points missing and others that were changed. 1. In the main continuity, Thomas didn’t hire Alfred. Pennyworths have been serving the Waynes for generations. 2. Flashpoint Batman WAS seen again. One of the most recent Batman story arcs, “City of Bane”, featured him. 3. Joker Martha killed herself when Thomas told her what happens to Bruce in the regular timeline.

Thomas Wayne Batman returned in the Batman/Flash crossover "The Button". If you haven't read it you really need to because it answers the question of what would Thomas Wayne tell Bruce if they ever met! Awesome comic book story!!!
