The storyline for the video is based on the literary novel Damien and the story of a fallen dark angel. The boys loosely represent the 7 deadly sins and coming of age faced with temptations. There is a whole storyline for this mv. They often reference literature in their songs. Originally Jin was to kiss Tae (who is a fallen angel) but they decided on a more pc option of the angel statue.
I loved watching your faces watching this mv. It really is a piece of art. RM is such a talented writer. The coolest was when this originally came out the boys had not really presented themselves in such a mature way and it blew everyone away. This was the year they won their first Daesang (like an AMA) and overcame all the criticism and hate they dealt with by being from a small record company (The year they took down the Big 3). It was the beginning of their rise!

When the trailers for Fake Love were coming out and everyone was going all like "Queen BS&T is about to be dethroned" I was all like "We will see" and tbh Fake Love is amazing and all but it will never match the Artistry that is BS&T. BS&T is one of those music's that I could listen to non-stop and I will still die all over again. The visuals are in a whole another dimension, it is so sensual but also enigmatic.

I kinda wish you react to all their solo songs from the Wings Album and Love Yourself Series.
I understand what Dizz is saying actually, because I think you have to hear certain BTS songs FIRST before their other B-sides or title tracks so you can understand their sound and how they like to experiment on music genres. If you listened to a track without a clue of what BTS incorporates in their music, their message, their story, you might not find interest in it. They really covered a lot of genres from super hyped dance track songs (IDOL, Dope, Anpanman) to ballad songs. Some songs if you really don't understand the context behind it is really hard to appreciate especially with BTS, their songs have really deep meanings, the lyrics are poetic even though it's delivered as an upbeat music. I'm just so glad you finally saw Blood Sweat and Tears. I hope you dive deeper into their other songs. I love you guys!!

It’s interesting to see what different reactors gravitate towards, obviously since you all are singers you’re going to be more impressed with the vocal side of BTS, but just keep in mind BTS was originally supposed to be a “rap only” group but later on they were changed & brought in the singing line. I think that’s why BTS hasn’t impressed some of you until now. They are a very “rap heavy” idol group. Which I think is partly why they have gotten so big, especially in the US. I’ve seen many reactors really only gravitate towards the rap side & then there are the ppl who really appreciate the performance/dance side of BTS. So I’m glad they were able to show a side that you all were able to relate/understand. I think there is something for everyone when it comes to BTS. That & their lovable personalities play a pivotal role in their popularity. If you go back to their earlier work I think you might understand why they are considered “at the top” now. I’ve been around since the Dope/I Need U era so it wasn’t always like this. They really have worked to be where they are now. I hope you keep hearing and enjoying 😊
