It's not 2004. Everyone knows about lasher farming, tribute runs, jump runs and DM:N trash/first boss farming. DM this early just means the economy is going to get borked because the amount of extra cash flowing into the game from mages alone will cause massive inflation. Happens on every private server I've ever seen.
I've gotta be in a minority, but as a Resto Shaman who is 53 atm (switched alts twice, both are at around 40) I absolutely love the fact that I will have DM as soon as I hit 55. Love the dungeon, the loot, the moneymaking, everything. If I finish my BiS list quick that way I still have raiding obviously, gold making, gearing elemental for PvP, gearing Enh for the sake of it and leveling my alts. Anyway, Dire Maul was intended for release of vanilla and in EU afaik it launched like 3 weeks after base game. If this is just one-off for Blizzard in terms of speeding the Phases content, then I'm completely fine with that. But maybe that's just because I benefit greatly from it.

It makes no sense for truesilver key to be able to open it when its lvl 200, but seaforium needs to be 275? the large seaforium charge is also 200 like truesilver - so where did you get this information from
Dire Maul is coming out about three weeks earlier than it did in actual vanilla WoW. EU players never even experienced WoW without DM in it, since WoW launched in EU after DM was added. Releasing it now doesn't feel that far off.
for me as mage, the only better gear are bracers from 1st guard, as there are no other bracers with sp outside of raid (i dont have single raid piece) or green +sp
Hide of the wild is still bis for resto shaman as MP5 isnt that good after we get to a certain SP cap and bosses in MC die faster due to other players getting gear.

And even the healers still need scholo/strat for Argent dawn, brs for ony attunement. From my perspective, releasing DM prior to phase 2 before Azeroth turns red seems like a good move.
Yea it changes like 1 ring for rogues (and other melee I assume) but other than that, I don't really know what else has changed. Having the other option for a ring cuts out the ridiculous UBRS grind as the only other ring worth having drops off drakisath. All-in-all, DM doesn't change that much for any class, it just adds a few more key items for certain specs (boomkins).

It's not like they're releasing Naxxramas already, which is the last 40 man raid Instance and you won't get any bosses down in there if your raid group doesn't have gear from previous raids that will be released before Naxxramas. (So not that it would make any difference if they released Naxxramas tomorrow) Nefarian in Blackwing Lair is simply a gear check, is the gear of your raid not good enough to do enough damage on the boss? Have fun wiping on Nefarian till your raid group farmed all the other raid bosses enough to gear everyone up. You can basically look at things like this.. Step 1. Molten Core and Onyxia Step 2. Blackwing Lair Step 3. Zul'Gurub Step 4. Ahn’Qiraj And then to end it all, we will be able to get the best gear possible PvE wise in Naxxramas. I personally wouldn't be surprised if all content will be released before the end of next year and then people will have years of time to do all raids and see all end game content. Simply cause this game will be played for at least 10 years. Blizzard won't shut down all the servers so long people are playing and will keep them up for many years same like they did for the StarCraft and Diablo II/Lord Of Destruction and you can still play those games online. If all content is released by the end of next year or maybe even sooner then that, it still won't be too fast with anything because you can't expect to kill a boss in Naxxramas with some gear you got from Molten Core and Onyxia and you'll have plenty of time to gear yourself up. Don't want to feel rushed? Join a casual guild that does everything on your speed and just clear Molten Core a year from now or what ever. Cause who cares when you do it? All content was released in a time span of two years and we were the 2nd guild on the server who managed to clear the Black Temple before Wrath of the Lich King came out. The other guild was ahead of us and every other guild on the server was far behind us.. No other guild even set foot into the Black Temple back then.. Even though we raided 5 days a week, for two years in a row we didn't even manage to clear all of the raids that were released during the Burning Crusade simply cause we didn't have the time. So basically the same thing happened back then as in Classic with Naxxramas, most people stopped raiding one or two months before Wrath of the Lich King came out and thus never even seen most of the raiding content. But now these days, people are complaining about a 5 man dungeon being released too soon? Wasn't Dire Maul already out when the game came out in Europe back then? WoW Classic gives everyone a chance that didn't see all of the content (me being one of them, as I did most of my raiding in TBC) to still see and experience it and you can maybe do everything within a year or 10 years. All depending on how fast you want to go through it and don't worry about the game dying in a couple months cause private servers have already proved that this game is timeless and will be played by many people for many years to come. The simple reason Dire Maul got released sooner then Blizzard had planned is because, people are going faster through the content then we did back in the day and I can imagine it can be very frustrating for a Paladin or Warlock having all resources ready for their epic mount but not able to get their epic mount cause it's locked inside a dungeon that isn't released yet. Because people are going through the content these days quicker then we did back then, everything else will be released sooner then most people probably had anticipated but it doesn't matter cause hopefully Blizzard isn't going to kill Classic by releasing The Burning Crusade Classic and not giving people a option to choose which they would want to play. WoW Classic/TBC Classic/Retail. I personally think The Burning Crusade Classic will come within time cause of the fact WoW Classic is a succes and The Burning Crusade is even more popular.
For many item slots it has better gear than basically every other dungeon which means on many servers now it'll be much harder to get groups for other dungeons because why do them when the better loot drops in DM

i dont think its to early at all honestly... i dont play all the much, but have gotten to level 60 and got all my bis. Nothing to do now but get gold and raid 1-3 times a week. I know plenty of people are in the same bout as me, and the majority of people that play on my server are 60 as well. Glad this came out early and I can't wait for something to do again.
@@Penguonen Armor on it mate. Just read up on feral weapons, and you'll see it up top for mitigation. for threat you go for the gnomeregan mace that you can increase attackspeed by 50%, the one with 3 charges.
Speaking of tank loot; feral druid tanks can get Unyielding Maul from tribute runs. Almost identical to Wardens staff which is the epic B.I.S. classic.wowhead.com/item=18531/unyielding-maul#comments
You left a little bit out for feral tanks, they can get Unyielding Maul (classic.wowhead.com/item=18531/unyielding-maul) from tribute runs which is about 95% as good as a warden's staff. Drop rates low (though I'm pretty sure wowhead is wrong) but it will save you 400+ gold.
I was personally looking forward to being dungeon done. You know, everything I need outside of a raid completed giving me time to do other things, namely an alt. I hadn't even picked a class despite being left with only scholomance on my list of acquirement. Now DM is here and while it won't add on an overwhelming amount of stuff it does feel too soon. My anticipation for a dip in activity was more to charge up for phase 2 than to stop playing as much, to just sit back and do my weekly raids and recover after the big push to level and pre-bis. This early release will be fun but it also makes me nervous that more important releases might be launched before their time.
For mages there are 0 items i will be wearing for pre-BiS items, a lot of healer items and melee, but 0 items of interest for mages except for the +8 SP enchant and Mage water quest.
@@stephenmackey1735 DM sure has some "Solid" items for mages, but not a single one which is a pre-raid BiS item, and i personally already have all pre-raid BiS items for my mage, which is why i don't have any particular interest in DM except for making gold, lvling a hunter alt atm so ill be ready for solo tribute runs which i suspect will be the best g/h through-out the entirety of Classic.
@@NGRevenant is naxx patch the last patch? If so then ya I assume most people will start to quit after the last patch has been released. Just because its classic wow doesn't mean it has infinite replayability. The longer things go without an update the lower the amount of people will be willing to pay 15 a month to play. Although they did say they would maybe add new updates or release BC depending on what the majority wants

They need to look at a lot of things like ZG after BWL makes no sense and delaying BGs is stupid, MC is a faceroll as it is so not much to do at 60 for the other 6 days of the week.

Maybe you don't realise they are just following their old footsteps of a 15 year old game and that many of the decisions made were reactive to the games popularity and missing features at a rushed launch, perhaps something you would change if you had the chance? But more likely they are praying for the same success even though the market is completely different. Shows a lack of vision and care in my opinion.
its not too early, almost every pug is clearing mc 8/10 per reset and if you are in guild you get full epick gear in 1 month or so. if they release DM later who would even want to go there when MC is easy farm and pugs are carried by 10 guys and can even sell boosts
Should have waited longer. This isn't 2004 anymore. People on mass know the tricks of DM. So everyone and their mother will be farming lashers and DM:N trash/first boss. Good hunters and shadow priests will be doing tribute runs (assuming they haven't changed it to make it impossible) The entire economy is about to inflate because of this. Not to mention DM had a bunch of gear that makes raid stuff irrelevant due to superior itemization.
It's for the people that play 16 hours a day, shockingly a play time of a month since release means you somehow run out of stuff to do... Maybe play something else a bit people?
I play 4-5 hours a day i guess, adjusted for extra hours on weekend. Im lvl 60 and im nearing 16/16 bis (need more mooncloth/gold for truefaith). I have 1 lvl 31 alt and one lvl 18. I dont feel like i played perfectly or anything, i just feel i didnt waste alot of time doing things that wouldnt push me forward in some way. Im glad they're releasing, as gearing with my friends gets a new twist to it and i get some lvl 55 water from mages, instead of the petty lvl 45 water when i have 5.2k mana
@@Daniel-yi1le if you play 4 to 5 hours a day during the week and put in 7 to 10 hours each day on the weekends, it's equivalent to a full time job. If you want to play that much go for it but your gonna run out of stuff to do. I just hope that the release schedule doesn't change to cater to the few that play that much.

Dire Maul has been a part of the game a month and a half before the first Ragnaros kill, the opening perspective is seriously reactionary at best and ignorant at worst.
I think DM came out early because Pallys and Locks can't get their epics without it.

You left a little bit out for feral tanks, they can get Unyielding Maul (classic.wowhead.com/item=18531/unyielding-maul) from tribute runs which is about 95% as good as a warden's staff. Drop rates low (though I'm pretty sure wowhead is wrong) but it will save you 400+ gold.

I was personally looking forward to being dungeon done. You know, everything I need outside of a raid completed giving me time to do other things, namely an alt. I hadn't even picked a class despite being left with only scholomance on my list of acquirement. Now DM is here and while it won't add on an overwhelming amount of stuff it does feel too soon.
My anticipation for a dip in activity was more to charge up for phase 2 than to stop playing as much, to just sit back and do my weekly raids and recover after the big push to level and pre-bis. This early release will be fun but it also makes me nervous that more important releases might be launched before their time.

For mages there are 0 items i will be wearing for pre-BiS items, a lot of healer items and melee, but 0 items of interest for mages except for the +8 SP enchant and Mage water quest.
Sublime Wristguards? Those are pretty solid if you dont wanna spend time farming those frozen wrath bracers from BRD.
@@stephenmackey1735 DM sure has some "Solid" items for mages, but not a single one which is a pre-raid BiS item, and i personally already have all pre-raid BiS items for my mage, which is why i don't have any particular interest in DM except for making gold, lvling a hunter alt atm so ill be ready for solo tribute runs which i suspect will be the best g/h through-out the entirety of Classic.

@@NGRevenant is naxx patch the last patch? If so then ya I assume most people will start to quit after the last patch has been released. Just because its classic wow doesn't mean it has infinite replayability. The longer things go without an update the lower the amount of people will be willing to pay 15 a month to play. Although they did say they would maybe add new updates or release BC depending on what the majority wants

@@viikmaqic I'm at 10 days 18h lvl 45. Not rushing things but as I mentioned i think I'm only slightly above average player and still learning things. I think you are probably at top 5 percent of with that speed. Without even counting all the people that stopped playing after a month.
to be fair a lot of people have been running MC for a few weeks now. They're the people that wanted DM early.

They need to look at a lot of things like ZG after BWL makes no sense and delaying BGs is stupid, MC is a faceroll as it is so not much to do at 60 for the other 6 days of the week.

Maybe you don't realise they are just following their old footsteps of a 15 year old game and that many of the decisions made were reactive to the games popularity and missing features at a rushed launch, perhaps something you would change if you had the chance? But more likely they are praying for the same success even though the market is completely different. Shows a lack of vision and care in my opinion.

its not too early, almost every pug is clearing mc 8/10 per reset and if you are in guild you get full epick gear in 1 month or so. if they release DM later who would even want to go there when MC is easy farm and pugs are carried by 10 guys and can even sell boosts

Should have waited longer. This isn't 2004 anymore. People on mass know the tricks of DM. So everyone and their mother will be farming lashers and DM:N trash/first boss. Good hunters and shadow priests will be doing tribute runs (assuming they haven't changed it to make it impossible) The entire economy is about to inflate because of this. Not to mention DM had a bunch of gear that makes raid stuff irrelevant due to superior itemization.

I play 4-5 hours a day i guess, adjusted for extra hours on weekend. Im lvl 60 and im nearing 16/16 bis (need more mooncloth/gold for truefaith). I have 1 lvl 31 alt and one lvl 18. I dont feel like i played perfectly or anything, i just feel i didnt waste alot of time doing things that wouldnt push me forward in some way. Im glad they're releasing, as gearing with my friends gets a new twist to it and i get some lvl 55 water from mages, instead of the petty lvl 45 water when i have 5.2k mana
@@Daniel-yi1le if you play 4 to 5 hours a day during the week and put in 7 to 10 hours each day on the weekends, it's equivalent to a full time job. If you want to play that much go for it but your gonna run out of stuff to do. I just hope that the release schedule doesn't change to cater to the few that play that much.

Dire Maul has been a part of the game a month and a half before the first Ragnaros kill, the opening perspective is seriously reactionary at best and ignorant at worst.
