N.B This video is not a tutorial but does go into a lot of depth. It was made using a pre-release version and without access to a manual so some terminology or items may be different on release. I also deliberately left out a couple of surprises for you to discover! Scott Gentile, who owns A2A and also flies a Comanche 250 in real life, will be producing tutorials that go deep into how things work so I am leaving that to the expert!
We've all been waiting for this since we first installed MSFS! A2A Simulations, Kings of the FSX and P3D GA and Warbird classes, have entered the MSFS arena and they haven't disappointed! The Comanche is sensational. This video certainly isn't a tutorial but it will give you an idea of what it's about and A2A's very own Scott Gentile is handling the tutorials so how can you do better than that!
I have also purposefully left enough for you to discover on your own. This really is something to experience for yourself.
We take a look around the aeroplane and then head out for a flight around Lake Como before looking at the autopilot, EDM leaning feature and a landing.

Those guys at A2A are amazing. They have already added the ability to test pitot heat. Click and hold on the pitot head!
Do you know if there's the dipstick function at all? Or A2A never had it?
@@Inserico yes not sure if you wrote this before you saw it but I feature the dipstick function in the video during the walk around. Oil level and condition (checking colour) are simulated.
@@Dreamsofwings thanks mate. Yes I saw the oil one, but I mean the fuel tank one? To know how much fuel it actually is in the tank?
@@Inserico ah sorry understood. No it’s just a visual inspection that the tank matches what you would expect based on what you have put in the tanks. A lot of it is based on Scott’s IRL process.
Awesome video. Thanks for flying our baby. Great presentation.
Hey many thanks! Great to see you guys taking the MSFS world by storm!
You brought back some memories there talking about frooglesim and his videos looking at the early a2a stuff. Great video.
Many thanks!
I got my son when he was 12 interested in flying and flight simming. I only have a PPL with instrument rating. But I sent him to airschool, did his PPL, night and instrument rating and instructor rating, and went to CPL.
Then he instructed several years then passed his ATPL rating.
Several years later he is a captain flying Boeing 777 300 ER for Emirates.
This is absolutely phenomenal. You did a fantastic job going over all the features too!
All those people saying MSFS isnt a proper sim need to see this, so they can eat their hats!
Many thanks! Unfortunately a lot of people who say MSFS isn’t a proper sim don’t want to change their mind it seems!
Yeah, those people were right when MSFS came out, but now with things like the Fenix, PMDG's 737, the Milviz C310 or this... C'mon, get a decent computer and enjoy this wonderful sim!!!
Wow, wasn’t expecting to see this, this morning.
Aircraft purchased within 30 secs of you saying it was released. 👍
It’s a great day for Flight Simmers!
@@Dreamsofwingsit is, my biggest regret moving to XP from P3D was loosing this aircraft. Cannot wait to use her again. Flown her round the world and across the Atlantic on numerous occasions in FSX and P3D, and loved every min. No other ga aircraft has ever come close to her.
@@cowboy10uk ah fantastic, and this new version is a beauty too!
I purchased this plane yesterday. WOW! I flew my first flight this morning - an IFR flight in VMC from Boston to Scranton. On arrival, there was a BRISK 13 knot crosswind at 90 degrees - this plane handled it with EASE.
If loving the A2A Comanche 250 is wrong . . . I don't want to be right!
Lol well said. It really is excellent isn’t it.
I fly the C172 in a German flying club and have the FSX A2A C172. Despite the FSX limits, already that plane was fantastic. Now you can finally do realistic VFR flying with a real airplane. I just hope they soon release a well done C172 for FSX, too.
Exactly, the best of both worlds!
I doubt there is going to be any development on FSX. MSFS is the present & future
@@Britalex I think he meant that he hopes that the c172 for msfs will be as awesome as in fsx
It’s amazing how much detail they’ve added into this plane.
Wingflex on a small GA aircraft, who’d have thought it?! I hope other devs follow suit as the wingflex isn’t huge in amplitude but it massively adds to the immersion when flying in turbulent air.
Great stuff by some of the best devs in the market! 👍🏽
Completely agree, immersion on a new level in MSFS!
This is a must buy this week for me been watching all the videos on this plane for a long while now. Put it in my ga hanger with the 310R,and the 414.
Oooooooh... was waiting for it so long, but so great this has been released! Amazing! 😃
I remember in the P3D version I had the same issue with the magnetos in one flight, it was some fouled plugs. As soon as I followed the procedure to clear the plugs of fouling the magnetos worked fine again. After watching this I'm even more hyped for the eventual release of the Aerostar.
Accu-sim definitely keeps you on your toes!
Thanks for sharing this! I have been waiting to add to my Piper collection. The attention to detail they put into this rocks!
It’s amazing isn’t it! Many thanks!
Thanks for the video. Just purchased and installed. Nice to have A2A back in the sim.
It certainly is! Many thanks!
l got 50 plus hours on mine in the meanwhile - or at lest the one l amusing for my trip around the world )
Love my Comanche, can’t get enough of it! And love your videos!
Hey many thanks. Yes she really is a beauty!
Congrats on being the first to review - this beautiful lady I first flew back in 1973
Thank you sir! Must have been lovely flying the real thing!
This looks absolutely next level.
Looks great ! Thx for sharing :) I saw it’s available for purchase, I’ll wait for Black Square Duke x 2 aircrafts before deciding. Just bought F28, need to learn that one properly before buying more.
You have always been the first video I watch when a new A2A aircraft comes out, well done sir. As soon as the servers at A2A slow down I'm going to pick this up, great price and wow have they upped the game with this one. Kudos to the A2A team and thanks for the work you have done on the video.
Many thanks indeed!
Thank you for your in depth review!
Many thanks!
Jest mega , właśnie dzięki TDS na discord dowiedziałem się o istnieniu tej zacnej maszyny . SUPER ;)
I remember buying the AccuSim C172 several years ago, it drove me crazy reading “your spark plugs are fouled!” every time I was ready to take off.
Brilliantly made video, thank you
Many thanks!!
Loved a2a work in the past and this looks fantastic really hope we see a P-51 in the future
Oh me too! That and the T-6!
Awesome video and review, and of course I bought it :)
Many thanks mate! 🍻
Purchased before the review was even finished. Welcome to your new home, A2A, I've missed you xx
Isn’t it great to have A2A in MSFS! 👍🏻
What I need to sort out is why I can't click through the pages on the pad - probably some simple thing I'm missing.
@@lucylouise4922 if you click on the tabs nothing happening?
@@Dreamsofwings yep. I can't find anything in mouse settings. Maybe I need to rein stall
Yes try that and if it doesn’t work head over to their support forum. Should be able to click around as I do in the video and I’ve not seen anything like that. Hope you get it sorted!
Thanks for your video. Very interesting.
Many thanks!
Good ol' Flow is right! I was sold at the beacon light 😆 so it's on its way to my hangar - thank you!
Fantastic! Hope you enjoy!
Thank You Sir for high standard Teacher, give me lot help for study high standard aircraft. great Job you done. Cheers
Hey Wen, fellow AMA pilot. Many thanks and I hope you and family are well sir!
I've been waiting for this one ever since I first read about it on the MSFS forum. This might replace my BlackSquare Bonanza G36 Analog as my go-to aircraft. One (admittedly silly) reason is that the real plane was born in 1959 (well...1958, but who's counting?) - the same year as me.
Great video. Nice approach/landing as well!
I have to agree. As much as I enjoyed the Bo I can’t imagine not choosing this now. It is so alive. Many thanks!
Great details, probably one of the most in depth available on YT, well done! RE your rough-running on the mags, would it just be spark plug fouling? I note you leaned the mixture a little bit for taxi, but not much, and IRL when I hire planes, that seem to happen a lot until I lean for highest RPM and run it higher to burn off residues, then it would be fine...
Yes I did wonder if it was that, I think I mumbled about it in the video, but thought I had taken precautions and hadn’t seen it in beta testing but all my talking and not enough leaning must have done it! ….many thanks for watching!
I just bought this and it is amazing. This is by far the best simulation I've experienced in a home flight simulator.
Fantastic isn’t it!
great review for a awesome aircraft
Many thanks!
To me, it does appear, VR is almost mandatory, but what a fantastic build. The level of detail is absolutely amazing. Great video, thank you.
Many thanks!
Mandatory for what?
@@Likearollingstone174to heat up your eyeballs of course, that and not being able to see your physical controls. 😋
loving the A2A Comanchee!
Fantastic isn’t it!
When you have a mag running rough, turn to it, lean out mixture a little more than half, add throttle to burn the fuel out, then back to 200 and cycle them again, it should be cleared on those three cylinders/ I would suspect maybe not leaned out enough on the ground ops, and caused the three plugs on that mag to clog a little, clearing them this way prevents changing a mag.
Great video. Akthough your voice filter once flying was a bit 😂. Apart from that very informative.
Lol a lot of people like that filter so I will keep it in but thanks for the feedback. Can’t win em all 🤣. Glad you enjoyed the rest of it.
All of my flight training was done in Pipers, Cherokee 140, Warrior and Archer. Never had an autopilot in real life, but I absolutely want one in MSFS, for VFR and IFR flights. The AP in the Comanche is rather rudimentary, but looks functional enough. I'll do some more research on that before I commit myself to purchasing the Comanche.
Yes it will follow NAV/GPS. Can also track a localiser and do Alt Hold. Pretty good for most things and giving yourself a rest 👍🏻
This plane send the simulation in another dimension really. Bought it on first day, did a nice VOR/NDB only flight between Warton and Bournemouth England. She fly like a dream, everything is nicely simulated, she's gorgeous. All planes should be like her imho. Reminds me my hundreds of flights in A2A Comanche, Cherokee or 172 with P3D and FSX.
She is wonderful isn’t she!
Higher speed while climbing like a cruise climb should help with the CHT mate. Great video! 👏
Many thanks and completely agree. Best rate of climb speed is 95mph in this and I was a tad slower than that which wouldn’t have helped!
@@Dreamsofwings only a pleasure mate, really enjoying the videos 👏
Many thanks!
SUPERB!
I am waiting for the Chance to fly it. Had time to start her up and run it a little this morning. Will get mine going soon.
Fantastic! Hope you enjoy, she’s lovely to fly!
The way certain sounds are simulated is amazing. It seems like each bump, engine event and control movement is stimulated individually, not just the same sound looped when a certain thing happens. Can I hear fuel sloshing around in the tanks? Amazing.
One thing they could add is the sound of prop wash on the windscreen. Most a/c seem to miss that.
Yes the soundscape is incredibly immersive. Quite incredible.
Such a classy channel young Rob. But I do miss Pablo…
Lol at 52 it’s nice to be called young!!! Ah he has long since retired and living in a cabin in the Alps!
@dreamsofwings The pitot tube does heat up: to test it during the walk around just click and hold the left mouse button on the tube itself. It goes red if warm. 👍
Must have been added since my prerelease version. Good news
Oh wow!
it looks nice
Art.
You made the takeoff with the wind coming from the back. Did'nt you have a look to that beautiful windsack??? As to the new Comanchee it is really a great step from the older one!
Oh dear, there is always one who looks for mistakes to put in comments 😉. Actually the wind was negligible at take off and I wanted to use this direction.
@@Dreamsofwings Sorry, I was not searching for mistakes but was wondering about the wrong takeoff direction.
Thank you for the amazing video.
What is used to make your flightplans ? .gfp format from where. :)
Thank you
Many thanks! For this one I built in Little Navmap and exported to simbrief, from there I downloaded to the various formats.
After two flights and about five hours flight time, I agree that the Comanche is a really great plane that requires much attention to correct procedures, especially manifold pressure and prop RPM settings. The alt hold feature works fine. To go up or down I find that elevator trim works best. In heading mode, the AP is flawless, but in NAV mode it does not anticipate turns. So a really rudimentary AP which will do the job, but with a little help in the turns. Looking forward to a long flight!
Glad you are enjoying it!
I think the left side sparks are fouled causing the bigger drop in RPM. If I rem correctly you gotta lean the mixture which should help clear it. There's a way to do it but im not 100% sure how.
What a gorgeous plane, I will absolutely be grabbing this soon. Off topic, what head tracking are you using?
You won’t be disappointed! I use the Grass Monkey Simulations King Puck kit th-cam.com/video/HihxGMaGppA/w-d-xo.html
Maybe I missed something but how did you descend with manifold pressure at 10 and not getting the landing gear horn warning sound?
Ah good question! The horn, I believe, is linked to the physical position of the throttle rather than the manifold pressure….so just ride it down with the throttle above where that warning kicks in.
I was a bit torn about this addon, it's an amazing level of simulation but I'm not usually into old light GA aircraft. Now I've seen the silver panel (can't stand that 'soviet green') and the TDS is implemented, it's a must buy for me.
It’s a real beauty and the ability to use some modern avionics is a plus.
Hahahah, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought, "the features of this module are amazing, but.... does it come in something other than green?"
Amazing review Sir! Also thank you for enjoying the skies above my country 😉. As an owner of both this aircraft in addition to FSRealistic, I wanted to share my experience. Using the second one brings to issues when stepping out the latter taking a FSR walk around. It happens that the plane starts sinking its nose toward the ground and a lot of scary squeaky sounds come out of nowhere 😂. So I think it's not the best choice using FSR in conjunction with the Comanche. I also think about possible conflicts between A2A turbulence/bobbing engine and the one developed on FSR. Is anyone facing the same? I could only find some discussions on old 2012 forums regarding FSX. Again, my best compliments to your video!
Many thanks! Your country certainly is beautiful. I have FSRealistic but never use it. I couldn’t really see the point of but maybe with aircraft like the Comanche and FlyingIron warbirds it isn’t needed.
I like to use a quotation from top gun maverick. "OMG, This thing is soo old" 😅
Hi Rob, Great presentation and look-see, assume you don’t need FS REALISTIC enabled with this aircraft, I purchased this morning and had one flight hoppy days, I forgot I had a number of A2A aircraft in P3D thank cheers for now Charlie
Cheers Charlie! Yes certainly don't need a lot of FS Realistic for this thats for sure
Afternoon many thanks for the vid. I'm using the honeycomb alpha and bravo and was wondering if you are having the same issues I have ? Such as battery switch not working fuel switch etc if so how did you resolve the issues. Many thanks Mark
I wiped all my Bravo switch presets out not long after getting it because of having issues when trying to do things in VR and also controls being ‘stuck’ dependant on switches. I use cockpit switches wherever possible and it feels a bit more realistic for me. I only use one switch for the Park Brake handle.
Great review. I see in al reviews that in the outside check the thing (forgot the name of it) on the leading edge of the wing is missed.
Thanks! Not sure what it is you are thinking of? I know I missed the stall warning duct and flap in this one because I was following the tips on the tablet but it is there. (see the next Comanche video)
@@Dreamsofwings might be the stall warning. (The flappy thing 😂) Great aircraft. I have my first 5 hours on it.
@@renedef1 thats the one then! :) Yeah it's lovely
Perfect price for this aircraft!
Yes bang on isn’t it.

may i ask how you have celsius instead of fahrenheit in the efb? i’ve searched the manual but can’t find an answer!
I haven’t changed anything in the Comanche so likely just how my base sim setup is perhaps?
@@Dreamsofwings thank you! changed to hybrid and this fixed it.
Perfect!
purchasing when I get home
You won’t be dissapointed!
Guys, what are the best general airplanes in MFS2020 ? For sure this is probably the best but are there some others? Im mostly into default Cessna 172 and sometimes do a run in Diamonds planes.
I’ve not got them all but apart from the Comanche the JustFlight Piper’s and also Black Square Analogue cockpit series are highly regarded if it is GA you are looking for.
Wish the sound of the engine changed as it should for when the engine is flooded vs. without fuel. Maybe some day the exhaust sounds will be more accurate. Overall this plane looks really nice and fun to fly. I am enjoying the other quality pipers that are out there.
A2A. Piper Comanche 250, Prepar3d v3, So long time passed since then...
Great review. I loved the towbar feature.
Is there any mods or addons that could simulate a private hanger? Thank you for the well done review.
Thanks so much!!! A private hangar? What sort of thing are you looking for? This allows you to perform maintenance on the aircraft but are you thinking more of the building itself at an airfield?
Yes, a simulated hanger at your home airport to keep airplane just to add a little more realism. It was a thought I had when you were showing how to use the tow bar.
Thanks for the reply.
Ah ok, yes a good idea! There are some Burning Blue Design airfields in the UK that are empty and have opening and closing doors that I guess you could use but I’ve not seen anything that you can add to an airport of your choice. Great idea though, especially if you could customise the interior, really make it your own.
❤👍🏻
36:33 The sound makes it sound like they dumped the fuel on the ground, despite using a GATS jar.
What do you use to get your voice sound as if it’s through the headset?
Post processing in an editor. Unfortunately not ‘live’ as it where.
Finally A2A!!!
Yes! The wait is over!!
Its funny how I didnt know I was waiting for it till it happened haha
@@Hex2906 and you are gonna love it! Lol
How did you get the GTN 750? the only options I have are the GNS 430 adn 530
They just appear as choices there. I didn’t have to do anything. Might be worth you checking in on the support forum.
Have a look at the PMS50 GTN750, there is a free version to try out.
i fly the pmdg 737 and there is a fantastic video that shows how to use the honeycomb bravo with a 3 position gear lever. i am not sure if it will work with this aircraft but i am happy to find the video if you’d like?
Ah don’t worry mate. Happy with it as it is to be honest. With the P3D version I had a seperate keypress set up to do the final move but in here happy to stick with simple up down at the moment but thanks!
is the sound and flight model handling comparable with the p3d? Sorry to jump to the question right away. Watching your video with my earnest attention :)
Ok I just heard the overprimed sounds. Wow seems they improved the sounds.
Yes, P3D was good but sounds are next level here!
@@Dreamsofwings Thanks!
Flight model feels much more realistic here. Feels alive and exactly like the real thing. P3d was great but this is now next level
I found your video to be fantastic and it convinced me to grab this plane. but for some reason the only thing that doesn't work is the beacon switch for some reason and I have no idea why. Other than that I love it. thanx for giving us a peek at it. just not sure about that one switch.
Hey many thanks! Ok that beacon switch, only thing I can think of is that you have a control set up somewhere on a controller maybe that might be conflicting with it. Other thing to check is that the circuit breaker for it hasn’t popped out.
@@Dreamsofwings
Yeah got it figured out works great now. It was a binding thing for the Alpha yoke creating a conflict no big deal. Thanx for the help though.
@@kosys5338 glad you figured it! I had issues with my bravo doing similar things so unbound all my switches lol. I like using the cockpit switches. Only have one switch bound to parking break now lol
Why dose the fuel gage shows 3/4 empty I think its by the landing gear. When looking on the tablet your fuel was full.
That is the tip tank fuel gauge.
you can test Pitot btw. left click hold and it will change color
Ah cool, must have been added now. Wasn’t in my pre-release version.
XP11 and DCS pilot here, hardly flown MSFS due to lack of good aircraft and unrealistic physics feeling, but going to try this as I had it in FSX. Regarding your game, you don’t seem to have the annoying white menu arrow always popping up when the mouse moves, did you modify that somehow? I find it highly annoying!
Yes I think you will feel more at home in MSFS with this one! I used a mod to get rid of that ‘handlebar’. flightsim.to/file/9900/no-handle-bar
Now this aircraft feels realistic. Not Arcady at all
@@Dreamsofwings Many thanks, on holiday in UK just now, get my trip started in 1.5 weeks time.
2 questions if you don't mind. But firstly a huge thank you for such great videos. This plane is magic!
1) The EFB yesterday said to update Comanche using "A2A simulations" in my Windows start menu. I searched and searched with zero luck. Is there an A2A updater exe somewhere in the Windows system? In the end, I simply went to their website and downloaded the latest installer - of course, the download count goes down every time one does that. Still have 23 downloads remaining... so it's not a problem .....yet. 😊
2) Tried a follow-on flight from TFFR-TJSJ, landed, taxied to gate and shut down, then planned TJSJ- TNCM - starting at gate (all of these airports are 3rd party airports). It did the 1st leg on autopilot just fine, but it absolutely refused to follow AP from TJSJ to TNCM. It just kept circling left. Tried loading other plans using other departure runways from TJSJ (rwy 8 and 10) and even tried direct GPS. No luck. Had to hand fly the whole way. I'm very confused by this. Could it be I have persistent (both options) turned on? Since latest update, I turned off the persistent options but haven't re-tried to re-fly the TFFR-TJSJ-TJSJ-TNCM run. I'm just wondering if something was stuck in memory? I didn't change liveries either. Just wanted to carry on throughout the Caribbean but gave up on that idea since that problem crept up. I did notice that the GPS map refused to show a line from either RW8 or 10 to the 1st waypoint, regardless of departure chosen. I do have Navigraph and it's always up to date. Of course, I use the FS planner for the Comanche. I wonder if I could simply generate a SimBrief plan, save it as an FS2020 plan, then load that into sim 1st, then try again? Reason being, MSFS2020 plans don't always match Navigraph ones. Ie, often times a SID/STAR that's displayed in Navigraph may be missing in the FS2020 planner. Any ideas for failed AP controlled TJSJ-TNCM?
PS - did a flight after the latest update from EGNM to EDDB (3rd party airports). Made it in 3:47 minutes. Perfect flight at 9000', burning just over 12 gal/hour with prop pulled back to 2200RPM and wise leaning. With a 15 to 20 knot tailwind most of the way, I got ~200 mph groundspeed. Not bad! 😊
In answer to first question you need to click on Windows Start button and then scroll down to the A2A Simulations folder in the list of programs/folders that pops up. In there is the updater program so it isn’t in windows as such but you are getting to it via the windows start button. With regard AP following a route it will struggle if there is a sharp turn the route. This kind of AP just follows the needle and cannot anticipate the turn so sometimes you have to help it round…eg put it in heading mode approaching the turn and intercept the new course using Heading mode before switching back to LO/HI. I would imagine that is more likely to be the issue. The AP will just turn the aircraft trying to hunt the needle and this can result in flying in circles
thank you for the great video. do you have the flightplan somehwere for this trip !
Will try and post one here later! Many thanks!
I've thought that A2A aircraft are the only thing that might persuade me to get back into civvie flight simulation and buy the new MSFS...
I owned many for P3D but the Bonanza, Mustang, and Constellation are their flagships of each niche IMO and I'd like to see one or all of them get ported.
The Bonanza and the P-51 are two I would love to have in MSFS. Both spectacular sim aircraft.
In Europe transponder standby is not 1200 but 7000.
I got the same excessive mag test drop on the left mag. Happened twice. Going to report to A2A tomorrow.
Went on their website and was confused between ther $50 one and their $80 pro version...? Anyone know?
Make sure you are looking wt the MSFS version and not P3D which has different prices depending on what P3D license you own. a2asimulations.com/product-category/msfs/
I start losing engine power after around 10-15 min of flight and "OIL" starts blinking on engine display. Not sure how to resolve it.
Ok just trying to think of some things it might be. That blinking oil is warning you that your oil temp to high. Check that you have reduced RPM. Also check in maintenance in case something has gone faulty.
@@Dreamsofwings I actually found out the reson. It was carb heat that i didn't open while cruising.
@@somil07 ah yes, the dreaded carb icing!
Where can I find the manual for this plane? I looked everywhere after extracting the download. This bird loves to stall.
If you click on your windows icon in the taskbar and then look in the list of folders/programs you'll see A2A Simulations, in there you will find the manual.
GREAT video! I appreciate the time you put into 'splaining evrything. They day A2A brings out Army 155 in MSFS is the day I'll jump on board. Not until, I'm afraid. At 47:25: How cool is that? Almost as cool as my '22 Ford Bronco! Dayamm! Final note: put in that oil additive.
Many thanks Paughco! I am hoping to see some warbirds come over too! Hope all is well with you my friend!
The tip tanks kind of give that Korean war jet look.
Shooting Star
@@ShockwaveProd Yup :)
With the x10 wear and failure I'm going to try a simulated budget for owning the aircraft hoping to God that 200hr = 2000hr approx
Great idea!
How do you get your voice to sound like your on an airplane headset?
That’s in the edit I am afraid, it isn’t live,
The terrible mouse interface wont let me click the landing gear switch. It hovers above but wont click. So many frustrating parts. Getting a switch to click correctly is an exercise in frustration. For example the key. Clicking it and hoping it goes the right way is painful. Why they couldnt set it up right click is pushing a switch and left button is pulling it?
Have you tried using the mouse wheel?
I’m sorry to sound like a terrible newbie, but what flight simulators does this work with?
This is MSFS or Flight Simulator (2020) as it’s also known as. Addons don’t generally speaking work on different sims, only one specific one. For example this aircraft by A2A was released before in Flight Simulator X and P3D many years ago for example but those versions would not work in Flight Simulator and aircraft made for this sim won’t in other sims.
The exception to this rule I know of is most Flight Simulator 2020 addons will work with Flight Simulator 2024 when that’s released with little or no work involved to get them running. Same with X-Plane 11 addons in X-Plane 12, some might not work at all but might not take too much to bring them into the new sim.
@@WhiteHawk77 outstanding. Thanks for your reply. I’ve bought both and have them installed.
Looks great but I’m downloading it now, so sloooow - at 40KB/s, my “normal” download speeds sit around 10MB/s. Terrible server presumably, but the wait should be worth it.
They are getting hammered unsurprisingly, a lot of people have been waiting for A2A in this sim, the website went down at one point.
You cant track GPS route on this Autopilot?
Yes you can. But you have to remember the AP follows the needle rather than having any kind of intercept logic. Any tight turns for example you might need to assist. It will fly directly to the waypoint and then turn to follow the needle, it won’t anticipate the waypoint and begin a turn onto course early. Hope that helps.
@@Dreamsofwings thank you , same noted
And 1 important thing . How different does it flare? Because mine becomes extremely sensitive on flare always, didn't had problem with any other aircraft than A2As.. what could be wrong .??
The Comanche is a tricky one to land perfectly. I find this much smoother in pitch control than a lot of the others, more realistic, less crazy. Might be worth checking the elevator sensitivity.
I see ground movement docent match the speed of the plane. I see it to slow what actually the plane moving fast.
Just purchased this plane and cannot understand how to get it to fly a MS generated route using GPS like other aircraft do. I can't get it to follow the course regardless of the GPS system I choose. What am I doing wrong? I'm so used to flying the PMDG 737 using the FMS and imported SimBrief plans. I also have no trouble flying stock aircraft using MS inbuilt planning in GPS mode. This is so different that I can't seem to get my head around it.
Does this aircraft accept SimBrief plans or only MS generated ones? Comanche specific autopliot tutorials would be of great benefit to folks like me! Any help would be greatly appreciated. 😊 I feel so stupid right now as I'm a RW commercial pilot and retired military aviator. 🤔🤔
Having said that, this plane is truly a joy to fly due to its real to life flight dynamics. But all I can seem to do is fly it by dead reckoning or manually using the VFR map as a reference.
If you mean the Autopilot then it has no intercept logic. It will follow the needle, not anticipate the turn. So if you have a tight turn in your GPS route you might need to help it along by manually flying OR go into heading mode to turn it onto the new GPS FP heading and then put it back into LO mode
Yes, I do mean autopilot. I understand that I need to be on a reasonable intercept angle. It's the "knobology" that's confusing. Where is a "Nav" or "GPS" knob to be found? I can't find either.
Being after 1AM here, and I've been wrestling with it since 7PM, I'm going to quit for now and get back into it tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have some luck then. I'm pretty tired! Cheers
PS - I can't find an "Autopilot" per se either. Is there one?
@@waetos ah ok, so I press CDI on the 750 to switch between VLOC and GPS which will then feed through to the HSI. Sounds like you skipped the autopilot part of this video if you can’t find it ;)
@@Dreamsofwings Ahhh!! Now I see what I'm doing wrong! Thanks for that!!
@@waetosmake sure you check out the manual in the documentation folder it's pretty in depth
Hello, do you know if it will be available for XBOX?
Hi there, due to the complexity of using the additional Accu-sim component it won’t be out on Xbox I am afraid.
@@Dreamsofwings Thank you for your answer… but now I am sad. Have fun… 👍
Yes sorry it wasn’t better news!
is it out already?
It is!
how did you change your registration ?
Just the same as the others, in the aircraft customisation
