      Yes. He comes across as a modest and thoughtful person. He doesn't seem to feel the need to trumpet his views. I guess he says most of what he has to say in his art.

    I was fortunate to see this in my home town of Charleston, West Virginia last weekend. It was a packed theater, people of all ages and races, and we were all laughing, CLAPPING, and finally we sat in a stunned silence. It was an amazing community experience in the theater and I have to say that BlacKkKlansman is Spike Lee's masterpiece. GO SEE IT!

      Navy Bae Spike Lee has a way with film... I remember as a child going to see Jungle Fever and at the end everyone sat in silence just digesting what they had seen. When he wants to make an impact with a film, he does it and does it well.

    • @thisishowwedoit1
      @thisishowwedoit1 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Darlene, satanists do NOT know the 'truth' to speak any truth. Look at the effects that the American Black race has gone through since the 60's until now. You can thank satan and his followers for this horrific transformation. And it's the freemasons and boule members that have implemented this satanic plan by way of movies, tel LIE vision, music, etc... So then, keep your head buried in the sand and continue to be deceived by these GOD haters. Just know, their day (and yours?), is Coming!

    • @darlenex3300
      @darlenex3300 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      thisishowwedoit1 So, what did you think of the movie BlackKlansman and how did Spike Lee use this movie to use his influence of satanic propaganda to further harm Black people?

    • @thisishowwedoit1
      @thisishowwedoit1 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Darlene, really??? First and foremost, Spike is a race divider (among other things)! This movie (like 'all' of his movies), are stoking the flames of hatred. Simply put, Spike deflects the attention (as do 'all' of the prince hall masons and boule members), from black on black crime to the white supremacy (man), fault. This is done intentionally as to 'ignore' the cause of the satanic movies and music that influences the people. That's why the elite pay the 'so called' stars/entertainers large sums of money, because they use them to brainwash the gullible masses. But it's much deeper than that. Truly, it's satanists who are witches and warlocks that's casting spells (black magic), on the masses causing the people to continually be in a stupor/deep sleep... It's a reason 'so called' stars are third degree (or higher), in the satanic 'dark secrets'! So by 'not' pointing out the real enemies of the people (satanism/luciferian beliefs), Spike is further 'harming' Black people.

    I saw the film in Chapel Hill North Carolina, place where a drama over racial statues has been going on for many months. I was one of maybe eight people in a small art theater seeing blackkKlansman and after it was over it was very very quiet. There were no black people in the audience. Everyone left and I lean my head forward on the seat in front of me with tears streaming down my face. It is not as if the movie told me anything I did not know in a general sense, it was rather that Spike Lee so intelligently drew a straight line between the horrors of yesteryear that so many lost kaisers and white supremacists feel so nostalgic about to the horrors of today. There is a sense of despair about the trajectory of the human race and a certain
    possibility of achieving real, meaningful change.

      European film festivals shouldn't give prices to white guilt propaganda.
      This film no matter how you try to justify the white guilt propaganda would not be relevant for European relations.
      If what Spike Lee is saying is that he has the right to be a black nationalist cause of the African-American slavery, that he wasn't put in America and not Africa by choice, then that would mean that at least those European which didn't involve in colonizing Africa should follow the same ethnonationalist mindset as Spike Lee does, remember that his argument against white nationalism only would apply to whites living in US.
      Spike Lee clearly is an ethnonationalist.

      @Jim Knight no, not at all. it has nothing to do with race. i was asking about the law. but now that you brought it up i will say this. Plenty of people will disagree with you that this is a racist country. Larry Elder, Ben Carson, Lawrence Jones, diamond and silk, candace owens, herman cain, kevin jackson, senator Tim Scott, on and on. are they not black? i will concede racial issues were a big problem and i know race is still an issue. but you are making a larger case that this is a terrible country. Let me ask you a question so i can see whether you are reasonable or completely into race baiting for a living. did you think michelle obama saying 'all you white people are running from us'' was a racist and bigoted statement? That's the first lady btw. ! if your answer is no, we dont have much to talk about because then you are fundamentally unreasonable. i mean, you talk like a black man cannot walk down the street without the evil white man looking to kill him ! come on Jim. be reasonable. I will admit and concede to you one thing on the zimmerman thing...the cops should have arrested him right away. that i had a problem with.

It wont be in my collection It was agonizingly disappointing. I really hate to down a brutha's work. The real problem is that we have been so overwhelmed by mediocracy that a film like this can look like its a great piece of work by comparision. And that would be true by today's substandards. @Hostis Humani Generis we are oppressed you can't see it cuz you refuse to, that's a personal problem. And black people from other countries come here because America walks around posted but this is the home of the free. What in fact you just proved it yourself it's a lie you hate us but we don't control your destiny little control how much money you get paid hourly , that power belongs to the big corporations and bankers that truly run this country. And they so happened to be white. So take your hateful thought processes and focus them on the people that run these businesses and quit fighting your fellow cellmates, good as long as you sit here and literally pick out a group of people with your negative talking points, this country will never truly be free we're fighting for freedom for all people not just ours idiot fighting for your rights too.

      Personally, I think so. Like you said, the enemy you see is better than the one in the bushes. Plus, tons of those folks at the Unite The Right rally last year in Charlottesville lost their jobs, via people identifying them on social media. It wasn't the justice they deserved, but it was some. It stopped people from coming to the one in Washington DC this year. At least there's some consequences for being so hateful, and it shows the at-right that they're not as big and powerful as they thought. Lots of racist internet warriors - lots of chicken shits in person.
      At the same time, they are emboldened, which means some are going to try and/or kill people of color. I guarantee it's happening in smaller areas, places we don't hear about, places where it's easier to cover up. And, they vote. Racist candidates are coming out of the woodwork all over, because they think they have a shot now. Spike is deadly serious about how important these upcoming elections are. The Voting Rights Act is already under seige. The Civil Rights Act won't be far behind.

    Love that man, fighting for my rights, telling our stories even though it’s painful as all hell to think about. It’s terrifying to think how little progress we’ve made it’s scary to think about how black people areant being lynched but just shot instead. But it’s our reality and Spike Lee is trying his hardest to get that reality out there for everyone to understand. I think history will look fondly on him and his efforts towards race relations

    I saw this AMAZING film, in a theatre full of old white people too.
    I laughed.
    I cried.
    I recognized my privilege.
    I'm SO thankful this movie was made.

    He really didn’t have to add anything, nothing’s changed it’s just the appearance of change.
