Praise God. We were going to come but my wife gave birth a couple weeks before the conference and we didn’t think it wise to travel. We live in St. George UT and Im currently struggling with whether or not we should move to Ogden and join you guys or try and start something here. Im leaning towards the former because Im a first gen Christian and dont know where to start.
@@CameronMast we'd be happy to help connect if you're able to visit sometime! I wouldn't recommend trying to start something without an ordained pastor commissioned to plant a church.
@@Brian_SauveWe are definitely going to visit sometime. And yes I agree, I wouldn’t want to try anything on my own. there is one reformed church here but they aren’t postmill. Im currently at a non-denom dispensational church and Im thinking of maybe going to the reformed one for now. It’s also hard bc my dad, brother and sister have recently become Christians and Im trying to disciple them as best I can, and my mom and other sister have yet to profess faith.
Thanks Brian, that last part about God our Father has been a challenge I need to lean into. I have often felt like and said, “ if I was God I would have dropped a large Rock on me along time ago” false humility, uncontested sin, maybe. God’s love did transform me over forty years ago, that love and the power of the Gospel continue to transform me. Love what God is doing in places like Ogden and Moscow. And I love listening to you, Eric and Dan. Thanks again, and God’s continued blessings on His work in you and those around you.
This is probably the most uninspiring and unChristian talk I have heard from somebody supposedly delivering God’s word. I find it interesting that these people are so focused on building a Christian nation on earth instead of a Christian Nation in heaven
Any way to add these to The King's Hall Podcast? Or make a New Christendom Press podcast so they're easy to listen to? Thanks for all you're doing in Ogden. Looking forward to next year's conference.
If anyone would like to push back against pastor Brian's dastardly comments against short people I am now taking applications to the Short King Society. Men 5'7 and above need not apply. Thank you men for your faithfulness😂
21:55 - 28:00 mark -- Mr. Sauve, we have much in common with you theologically (probably 99% even). But as an office bearer in Christ's Church, which Christ governs in his authority by Scripture, what makes you think you have the right to bestow or not bestow "church membership" on someone based on what you think will make your organization a "singular, cohesive, and potent culture"? Christ is the one who decides who is a member of his community/church, based on who is a regenerate Christian (invisible church) and taking the sacraments (visible church). If you claim to be an expression of the church of Christ and not a mere social club, the confession of faith we both hold does not allow you to exclude true Christians from fellowship (Chapter 26.1-2): "All saints that are united to Jesus Christ their head, by His Spirit and by faith, have fellowship with Him in His graces, sufferings, death, resurrection, and glory: and, being united to one another in love, they have communion in each other’s gifts and graces, and are obliged to the performance of such duties, public and private, as to conduce to their mutual good, both in the inward and outward man." "Saints by profession, are bound to maintain an holy fellowship and communion in the worship of God, and in performing such other spiritual services as tend to their mutual edification; as also in relieving each other in outward things, according to their several abilities and necessities. Which communion, as God offereth opportunity, is to be extended unto all those who, in every place, call upon the name of the Lord Jesus."
Honored by everyone who joined us this year in Ogden!
Would love to make it sometime. Working on a Borough in IL.

Lots to chew on in this talk and inspiring. May the Lord bless Ogden! ❤
The Alfred Option, sounds like a great idea for the next book published by New Christendom Press.

This was probably my favorite talk of the conference. Well done brother. Sending it around to talk through & process with the brethren.
Thanks, brother!

I sincerely wish I could have attended this conference. Incredible talk, and love these men and the mission that’s being brought forth.
