    Awesome talk. Sending to everyone i know who doesn't understand my desire to find a covenantal/confessional church and why I'm convinced it's the only way. Great job. Thank you Pastor Sauve

    I'm crying in my heart that I did not have this powerful word when my children were young. Now my children are grown and I am a grandfather who came to reformed confessional understanding late in life. Now I'm watching my grandkids grow up with nominal Christian understanding or without any spiritual training. Not that my children are living immoral lives but. They have a worldly concept of morality but not a true Biblical one. I pray that God in His mercy will grant them grace. I believe God is faithful. 🙏🏾

    Legit question, Christ’s righteousness is imputed to me through the Holy Spirit not because I’m a part of a covenant. And I inherited Adam’s sin in my blood. How does federal representation mix in with that?

    • @samoberholz9800
      @samoberholz9800 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      Because all people are descendants of Adam, we do inherit Adam’s ‘original sin’ - and then we also commit ‘personal sin’ as well. Like when a chain comes off the track (original sin), the system becomes torn up when you attempt to force it to work anyway (personal sin).
      When we confess our sin and ask Christ to reign over and in our lives, we are transferred from Adam’s covenant-representation (and he abdicated his responsibility) and are moved beneath Christ’s covenant-representation (and He claims responsibility for our sins, paying their price on our behalf) - when we are justified, we are also adopted into the household of God. Indeed, the Holy Spirit applies the blood of Christ in our lives, nullifying the condemnation of our sins and clothing us with the righteousness of Christ.
      Hope this helps! Keep leaning in, @KennethSee, and I pray God’s Spirit will continue leading you into all Truth.

    What does judaism and Jewish think about systematic theology?

    • @earth9531
      @earth9531 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There’s a wide variety of views. There are just about as many among all of what we call Judaism as in what is called Christianity. The lines are extra blurry because there aren’t as many ‘denominations’, so theology is not as closely tied to orthodoxy, but still there are some broad associations.

      @N81999 it's purely transactional. He even said it was legal agreement. It's much more than a legal agreement. He's merely repeating the Moscow guys. Although a little earlier, apart from his definition, he says God keeps both sides of the covenant, so that's good, but it was probably lost on everyone.
