Hey everyone! Hope you like the video :)
I just wanted to clarify that I didn't come up with all this stuff on the fly - I tried out making the game a few times before recording and had some pointers laid out on my secondary screen as reminders.
Remember, this is not a competition, there are no strict rules! Feel free to use assets or do practice runs - As long as you challenge yourself and have fun that's all that matters :)

I can tell you could make a even better game in 10 minutes, but let's face it, you're a teacher, you're here to teach us things, so you explained a lot. If you did this without giving any explanation, you'd finish it in probably 6 or 7 minutes. Which proves your point even more. Nice video.

Though the version Brackeys made did lack some important stuff the original had, such as good music.

The original game probably took way longer because they are coming up with the gameplay mechanics. Brackeys didn't have to think creatively about anything in this challenge as he was replicating the already built game.
That's 8 mins in actuall, you wasted 2 3 mins by just telling us what you were doin ♡

get visual studio Code. its wayy faster
Or Sublime Text. It's super fast and easy on your battery life (if you've got a Notebook).

Both VS and Unity take like 18 minutes to full load on my PC and take like 87% of my RAM. So I changed to ROBLOX Studio until I get a better PC, it's nice, it's easier than Unity, but games are lower quality.

For all people that have problems with the rotation of the Hexagons:
Try to use instead of "rb.rotation = Random.Range(0f,360f) ;" in the Hexagon Script this:
transform.rotation = Quaternion.Euler(0, 0, Random.Range(0f,360f));
This should work hopefully :) ! Im not sure, but I think if it works the rb (Rigidbody2D) reference in the Hexagon Script is unnecessary x)

This just goes to show that one: he is an amazing programmer, and two: Many of these mobile games have very little effort put into them

u can find these sets and full keyboards if u google wasdkeyboard. there are plenty of other sources .. ebay amazon.. these are cherry MX caps for mechanical keyboards. i have some in white with hearts and symbols from the zelda game .. :)
