Glad you think so! Thanks Diana! ~garrett
OMG I 🤣😂 You guys are hysterical!
Could we put in the liquid before gluing top layer then we don’t have to have the hole?
Keep up great work guys I am a total beginner and learning loads from you. I have bought the xtool D1 pro.
Too cool.... Thanks for the great information...
Any time, Rick! Thanks for watching! ~garrett
This perfect for a project im currently working on
Weld-On 3 or 4 is magic for acrylic and is probably cheaper than the Testor’s since it’s made for industrial use. Been using it for years 😊 Oh and it sets in 30 seconds.
30 seconds IS WAY BBETTER than 2 hours! We couldn't find Weld-On in a store near us. Thanks Vincent!!! ~garrett
@@KimandGarrettmakeit Amazon has 3, and it’s about what it costs at local places here. Worth getting some 😁
Hey Kim and Garrett, i was wondeirng if you guys could tell me exactly how you did the liquid in the knife keychain with the two liquids?
Can you use this technique with wood too? As in shaker ornaments? I'm wondering if there's a way to do this without the oil/glycerin soaking the wood.
Love this tutorial. I do have a question. You mentioned glycerin, Was it mixed with the baby oil?
Just curious if there was a specific reason you opted for two layers of 3mm acrylic instead of just one layer of 6mm? There's more color options with 3mm obviously but black and clear come in 6mm plus its less materials use. And instead of creating that hole to put liquid in and have to plug up, did you try creating a solid shape (without the hole) and putting the backing piece on your center pieces, laying everything flat and then just filling it flat on the table and putting the top piece on?
Hi, great! I can't seem to find what thickness of acrylic you used. Please.
is the uv resin good for gluing part too instead of the acrylic bond
hi kim & Garret i love your channel and love your designs im new to all this i got a laser can you tell me do yous prime the mdf before painting your designs if so what kind .thanks from ireland
Im guessing just the resin worked in the hole? I didnt see if you mentioned it.
Worked like a charm and was easier than trying to put the plug back in. I think it was edited out. Thanks! ~garrett
Thanks! I figured it would work. :)
One more question. I've read that the P2 is 39 inches long, it doesnt look that big behind you. Is it really?
Whats the name of the glue that you used?
The one is a chapstick holder.
