it's sad that hobby stores are closing down but hopefully more people will think about supporting local hobby stores and buying kits directly from them instead
Here in the Philippines you can get any kits and tools via online sellers but I wish we have this kind of shops here, where you can hang out after payday and buy kits you never needed. LOL!
When I was there I thought you can just go to the mall and toy stores and they sell some common kits. I haven't seen an actual hobby stores tho other than like a card shops or a figure stores.
@@kazen16 I believe there are no second hand stores here like Mandarake in Japan, where you can sell second hand kits. Here the trade is more online. But Trading Cards yes, you can sell them in stores esp if the owner or the personnel in store is a collector too.
Part of the fun is just looking at all the displays and boxes. It’s like an art gallery. I also love shopping for paints I’ll probably never use lol. I really can spend an entire day there and admire just the product packaging. Omg I just heard Minmei from Macross singing in the background as you picked up the Korchima kit off the shelf! Nostalgia!
Too true. It's sad how little physical stores carry here in the US. I have to live vicariously through vids like this. One day I'll visit JP or Korea & shop in a real Gunpla store.
I can't believe a video like this made me sad with news about downsizing and the other store closing down. Meanwhile in the west a lot of stores have very little stock and most kits disappear as soon as they arrive.
I miss Seoul so much, best city ever! I spend one month there back in 2018 but at that time I wasn't into Gunpla yet. Want to go back in time and visit this store. Thanks for the awesome video!
My heart… in Australia we have had very little models being shipped in, the mg sinanju stein (both versions) are super rare right now and are selling for upwards of $250
Try your next door neighboor NZ where I live. We're lucky we have a couple of places we can but these kits but shit crazy expensive than Aussie prices :(
just got to korea a few months ago. i came across your channel while i was building the HG Strike Rouge. Ive been looking for hobby stores to go to in search of gundams, since my friends and i all enjoy building them. I really enjoy your channel so far. Thanks for showing me another store to check out while im here in korea!
I used to work near the Newtype (your partner) warehouse store and Anitong is almost, if not, the same size. In other words, it is huge for a retail store selling Gunpla.
I love shopping Gunplas and other toys/collectibles. I planned on getting one on Korea but as what happened, well, I guess I'll be waiting until it's possible. I'm not giving up hope. I'll go back to Korea and get a toy/kit/collectible, and hopefully soon.
@@frostedsnow I was wondering, cause you two have a lot of kits to build 😂I just started this hobby 3 weeks ago and already have four to work on 🤑 I have my eyes on a whole bunch more too... those need to wait though.
Wish there was a hobby store of that size near where I live but sadly while there are decent sized ones none of them come close to that size. Some of the larger warehouse type stores have also stopped in person visits and are for the time being only have online ordering.
I heard hobby factory still does stuff online? Sad that they’re gone. I loved their hongdae location :( Small shops are fun. hobby land in daegu has a lot of below msrp kits and supplies as well.

i like that the leftmost book at 1:49 features the pioneer of manicure pearl painting Ogoshi Tomoe which is one of my favorite female gunpla builders ever.
I hav question, i’m a beginner gunpla builder and i’ve been following your tips in cleaning the tools and how to paint using an airbrush, what do you call a gunpla workshop for a group of people? i’d like to join a studio like your former one, where there are experienced people who know more about gundam, i not rlly experienced, so im looking if i can get into a local group workshop :).
Hello, nice video and great collection of gunpla at this shop. Where was it? Here in Japan, there are not many gunpla available at shops. If you buy a gunpla kit online in Korea, which website do you use?
Is Anitong the name of this shop, right? I just wanted to know about this shop and to order some gunpla from Japan. I googled Anitong and got their website! Happy!
Decals are basically non-existent near me (Chicago). I’m left to trying to order online but then the price to ship makes it astronomical. I would have bought two of each at Anitong!
You should try buying Gunpla in Western Canada, in one of our larger cities, (... yeah right large city, what the rest of the world calls a small town... lol), maybe in China Town there might be a store with anime related products and in a back corner you can find a stack of Gunpla... and this was before Covid and the Gunpla supply shortage, so I'm not what's out there now... there have been a few actual Gunpla stores but they might last a year or two before disappearing... Nothing like what you see here in this video though... Thankfully there's places like Canadian Gundam (out east though... too far for me to go in person) where they have walk in sales now, and have for the past several years have had really good inventory available on-line.
Do you know or could do a video of a proxy buyer in Korea? Us in the USA are starving for many of the kits you showed in this video :( Maybe you guys would be interested in setting up a side business to buy and ship Gunpla overseas?
everything is sold out in Canada anything in stocks are 50%~100% more expensive than original price aaaand hobby shops are going out of business in Korea :/
Jesus christ what I wouldn't give, trade, or sell to have a well stocked gunpla shop where I live that I could spend most of my disposable income at. So many kits I've been trying to find in stock online just sitting on shelves collecting dust. My backlog would double in 1 month of me shopping and I got like 300 kits in my backlog/collection.
I was thinking, "this place is huge and amazing but filled with specialty supplies for a niche hobby, with no customers in the whole place". Then Snow starts talking about how gunpla is struggling in Seoul. :(

Right local hobby shops only have a fist full at best!
Seeing all those ver.ka spread like hgs here
Oh my god I know. That would be amazing and i would be so broke lol
We would eat these kits up so fast

Heya Junjie. The convenience of online shopping plus covid really is a bad combo for offline shops :(

Still have Gundam Base in Suwon at least. Was my one stop shop last time in Korea.
But GB official prices always more expensive!

Look at all that heavenly sight, my mouths foaming from all the Ver.Ka just stacking up like HGs
I wish we had stores like these in the States, most hobby shops carry Gunplas and other Kits but nowhere near this level. Great tour thank you ;)
Wow, I wish there was a gunpla shop as big as that in my country.
I'm drooling watching this video. I miss gunpla shopping in Asia!
Last time I've seen an actual gunpla physical store is when newtype did a pop up even in San Francisco, that's pretty fun, that was before covid.
Pop ups are fun. Gundam Base does some too here.
so much gunpla... wish we had a walk in store like in edmonton.
I used to work near the Newtype (your partner) warehouse store and Anitong is almost, if not, the same size. In other words, it is huge for a retail store selling Gunpla.
It'd be so cool to visit their warehouse!!
Wish we had that store in the USA 🇺🇸 😕
Wish you guys do too!!
Well, there has been talk of taking Gundam Base international. Be nice to get a few here in the States.
I need those PG and Ver.Kas! Do they sell online and ship here in the US!?
I don't think so :(
The copyright music is really unfortunate, but still great to see a vlog again!

Did you reserve the store? Where r the other shoppers?
I would snatch so many of those kits. In the U.S., the HG Psycho Gundam is only available on eBay for $120 + $20 to $60 shipping.
It’s a real shame I can’t find a gunpla store in China. There are only a few ma.K kits online too.
Ma.k kits are usually not sold as much here too
To be honest, I don’t know which I look forward to more in your videos: gunpla footage or food footage 🤣😂
My GF is not a gunpla/plamo builder, she is just here to watch the food at the end of the videos and Korean shopping
Where I live in the US, I can't find any. I have to order everything. The hobby is very niche here. I would pass out if I saw that store in person.
I would love to have a store like this in the US (New York to be exact). That is awesome!
this store looks amazing! sad to hear that hobby factory is gone though :(
Waiting for your next upload! Kudos!
They have so many Zaku 2 MG V2 kits!!! I can't find any over here....
