I can't believe I paid $65 for an MG Astray in the US when I can ask my family to get it for me for $20 less than what I paid. Gunpla Inflation is real. Also the US needs a Gundam base of that size. I would go every day but it would be cool.

Pusan is a great city to explore and appreciate the effort you've invested to bring awareness to this Gundam Base. Twenty boxes - WOW! Safe travels home and can't wait to see what's next.
That looks like a great shop. What a joy it would be to work there and fill the display cases with built gunpla... I would think each shop is independent to some degree and this one has gone to great lengths to get good stock.

Fun fact, the reason why you always win a price in the raffle (ichiban kuji) is because it consider gambling in Japan. Japanese are pretty strict on gambling and to avoid that, you win a price on every draw. Depending on your luck you can get the super cheap price such as key-chain, towel, or character folder. If you are really lucky you get the top price which are usually Price A to C or whatever. There are also a "Last One" Price which you only get if you get the last ticket. This is to make sure that every tickets is sold.
I know that if you were to get it, it only has the pieces to build the handle and hilt. You would have to scratch build the blade in order to complete it. I own the original PG Strike Gundam and the P-Bandai weapons expansion set to make it into the Perfect Strike Gundam. So I already have the Grand Slam Sword from the original PG Strike Gundam. A friend of mine has the PG Perfect Strike Gundam and I saw the leftover pieces and the Grand Slam Sword handle and hilt were all you get for the sword. So like I said you would have to scratch build the blade if you get the PG Perfect Strike Gundam kit. Good luck in your finds and builds.

Aside from GB, are there small shops that sell gunpla and other anime stuff? Im guessing the prices are way different from a local hobby shop vs prominent shops esp.those located at malls
This is something I've always wanted to ask but never had a chance to. I know that japan still sometimes might have limited models or limited stock since the pandemic, has it been the same recently where you live or anywhere that you know of? In the U.S. It's not as big, so what we do have tends to be somewhat limited. Thanks! :)

@@frostedsnow it's probably my favourite Gundam show. Feels much smaller scale / lower stakes than a lot of them, and it gets a bit rushed towards the end (feels like Bandai cancelled it so they shoved a whole season into a few episodes...) but it's got an extremely satisfying ending IMO.
Leaving South Korea for Canada i don't get it??? especially as a huge fan Gundam myself oh well. Currently Canada is a great place to go to for a short or long vacation but to work and live there permanently no it's getting way to expensive over there it used to be a great country as well but that was before Justin ruined that country.
