I got 930 odd in Liverpool the other day the top score was 980 something, it ruined my day 😅 Apparently the way to max your score is to hit up at an angle as the sensor is at the top. Also from a physics perspective if you hit the ball, which is basically a lever, nearer the top it increases the force on the arm. To see what I mean take a broom stick holding one end and now holding the middle of the broom with the other hand push forwards so you strike a chair or something, now do the same thing but instead of holding the middle, hold about a quarter of the way down. You should notice the broom hits the chair way harder the second time. Be careful though because it will be a lot firmer nearer the top of the lever when you punch it, you could break your wrist without good form 😉

Just did one today with a straight right from an actual stance and returned to guard and scored 960, my buddy did some run up windmill shite and scored 840 and he’s got at least 3 stone on me. Bit of decent training and it will show 😂
tbh alot of these have settings to tap into to make it harder and harder to get high scores, but even on hardest settings ive seen, ppl still would get 999, there must be a harder more difficult setting where people just can't get there so that we have a proper contest.

The right strategy is to punch the bottom third of the punching bag and use the hips so that you can use the whole body weight.
