    advice, put the home base cellular camera on a higher point, helps signal, at least 7ft, i had mine at 7 then moved it to 10 and got 20 more %.

    Cuddyback should make some jumpers that would allow cameras to connect if they get too far from each other to get a good connection. Cheaper than putting up another camera to make the link work.

    You guys have no idea how helpful this video was. I pulled the trigger on 4 cellular Cuddelink cameras and setting them up was a breeze with your videos on them. I did the 2000 image plan with enabled extra images just in case. I'm hoping these will be a big hit this fall.

    I watched til the end...do y’all have any updates on y’all opinions of the camera... really thinking hard about getting a system of about 4 or 5 to put in the woods but I’m concerned about the distance I’ll have to put them apart and how if most likely have to have extra cameras just to increase distance I have my cameras from the home base... I’m on a 550 acre lease and for the last 5 years, it’s only been hunted over a few road and a large high line... so the woods (creek bottoms) are virgin and surrounded by young pine.

    I know from using other cell cameras that battery life is effected a LOT by the frequency of download. If you set your camera up to send you photos in real time, it takes a ton more power than having it send only once every 8 or 12 hours.
    Do you have to physically go to your camera to change those settings or can they be done from your computer or phone?

    I got the new Dual Cell Wireless Camera, I set it up as a stand alone camera due to wanting to try it out first then buy more to go with it. But I have ran into me not getting photos, so I reset the camera with Cuddeback on the phone. Crossing my fingers that it takes photos. I set up my old trail camera beside it, and was getting photos on the regular trail cam but not on the Cuddeback. Any idea of how long it takes for the home dual cell to catch on the routine? I love how you can setup multiple cameras to one plan that's why I went with it, but I'm getting nervous that I'm not getting photos like the regular camera. Any info would help, appreciate your video.

      @@BrunkOutdoors thank you, you too. Quick question, how long does the backup battery pack last? Trying to decide if I should use the pack or the solar panel.

    • @BrunkOutdoors
      @BrunkOutdoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Anthony Smith that’s a good question, we aren’t sure yet, none of them have died yet and most appear to be over 90% battery according to the tests. Not sure how accurate that is but I believe they will last 4 or 5 months. They are supposed to double the life compared to a regular pack. I would say if you have direct sunlight I would try the solar panels but if not maybe try the packs!

    we just bought this system. our home camera is like the one in your video and we are having problems. I am sure it is something in the settings or set up but we can't figure it out. it constantly takes photos. we have used up our 2000 photo plan in just a few days because we can't figure out why it is constantly taking photos. do you have any clue what setting we might need to fiddle with? We have cleared out all the branchs from in front of it so we don't think that is an issue.
    any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated!

    • @BrunkOutdoors
      @BrunkOutdoors  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      britt schmiesing hmmmm, that is something we haven’t run into. Are you using the basic settings set up or advanced? We always just use the easy set up mode and never have sensitivity issues. Maybe try calling cuddeback, they are always super helpful. Otherwise we should have another whole setup video out soon. It would be out already but we are without power still after the storm that came through the Midwest on Monday.

    • @BrunkOutdoors
      @BrunkOutdoors  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      carutherstm they just have some that send to your phone and some that send between cameras. And then you have to decide if you want white or black flash. For a 100 acre wooded parcel, I would guess you need about 6 cameras, but it could be leas

      Rodie Mace we thought about it but most of our are in the shade under canopy. I know they say they work in ambient light but we weren’t sure so we just decided to try the D cell first. If we don’t see good battery life out of the D cells we will have to try the solars, but so far so good! It’s supposed to double the life of what you get with the standard pack and we got almost 3 months out of those so we might be able to get by with the D cell!

      Roger Ransom good to hear! We are getting better battery life out of the home cell cam than the remote units even with the D battery packs which is really weird! The home cam batteries are going strong but we have had 3 remotes die sense getting put out.
