So much learning going on in the little things you do! Your attention to those details are remarkable! I’m learning so much through your videos! Thanks for explaining things so well!!
As a complete beginner, I'm interested in horses but know little or nothing about them yet, I really appreciate your teaching! Your explanations are great, really basic. An area of improvement is the photage. This video is a typical example of us not being able to see what you are doing. To you it's obvious but I need to see exactly where your hands / fingers are and what they are doing when you pick up the horses foot for example? Camera angles mean a lot! I have seen many of your videos and wished the camera angles were as good as the rest of the content. But I guess you ( or me😅) are not camera men so I get it's not that easy.👍
Question: Is this rumor correct about a horse with all 4 legs that are white at the bottom, that mean the horse is soft footed? loved how you patted the bottom of the hoof. I heard thats the correct way to test a horses foot
Question: my 16 month old colt picks up his front feet easily, but then immediately slams the foot back down. What’s the best way to get him to pick up the foot and hold it up?
What do you do if horse picks up her feet ok but when I’m trying to clean out her feet, she starts moving her leg around. It seems like she trying to put her foot down. So far I’ve been able to hang onto the feet and finish cleaning the hoof out. It’s really frustrating to clean her feet, please help me. There’s got to be a better way.

That's an old wise tale. There may be some truth to it but I've seen plenty soft black feet too so definitely not a hard rule.

They usually do that when you're putting them off balance.
