Amazes me how mx games have gone so backwards
Alive was the best game made for quad riders. The quad actually has some weight to it. The other games, the quads are so unrealistically light.
It was by far the best game as far as physics and realism. Quads were a little unreal with the clanking but it made me one of the top 20 on Xbox 360 for lap times. If you don’t agree this is the best installment you might just be into playing these games on console and not riding or racing in real life.

I don’t remember the “huh, ah, uh” noises when you hit something or other riders hit each other lol. That must be a newer thing but cracked me up. Definitely like the width of the tracks on Alive. Really wish this was on pc

I know a lot of people didn't like alive but I loved it. Sure it didn't have a lot of content but it was really fun to play imo
For me it was mostly I just never played this one as much as all the others. Borrowed the game out and never got it back lol.

This game is my second favorite in the series.
If I would have played it more when it came out, I probably would feel differently about it than I do. I still think its one of the more difficult MX vs ATV games to learn. Ruining any rhythm in the game punishes you more than other mva games. For sure has that challenge to it!

I don’t think so, when I bought Alive on disc back in May 2011, it came with a code for the James Stewart Compound, and all the dlc is sold separately

As far as I know they arent. When I first starting playing again a couple years ago they were. Even the motoclub depot was still working.

Im not really sure. When I bought the game again years ago, the Motoclub Depot was still working. I wish I would have grabbed a couple more things back then.

Yeah, I think the KTM 250sxf was the last DLC I picked up before it went offline. I wish I could get that other free ride map they had.

Yeah, my 360 is nearing the end of its days. Disc tray doesnt really open anymore and it seems to run really hot. Only really use it when playing this or Untamed.

Running championship and winning earns some credits. Also, if you have go to online custom tracks, there probably is a track that is called something like earn credits, or farm credits, something like that-that you can run laps on that is very short. Earns credits very quickly. Or just build a custom track with a start straight, finish line and then connect it back to start straight. Then validate it and run a ton of laps on it.

the free ride map and the map u did quads on is in encore and the reason you didn’t do so well on the short comings was because you were on a 450 on short course
The national tracks and freeride mps from encore were from Alive and the reason he didn’t do so well on the short tracks is because he hasn’t played Alive in a while, i can do better than you on a 450, 250, 125 it don’t matter

A game where it feels like the model need to take a shit in every corner, where the hit sound is someone closing a gate to hard.. definitely my worst mx game i have ever played.
I mean I have a hard time with this one too, but partly because I never played it much and partly because I think it really is one of the harder mva games out there.
