With all 3 side by side, 4 seemed to have better terrain graphics than the other 2.

@@tonygunk18866 is the closest to three in terms of physics though and the first one since 4 to have all of the venues. So for that I will give it some credit.
I wanna see all 6 games side by side. That would be awesome
6 games and still no Rut mechanic. I hat the cornering in these games cause it just feels so slidey. MXGP 3 had a good Rut mechanic and it was so satisfying and rewarding when you hit them I just can't stay in these games for long
@Peter Alexander yh supercross 1 & 3 corners weren't bad (havnt tried 2) and slidey just no ruts again and it's only gone down hill from there with 4 5 and 6
@@discult6981 I only have 2 and it is slidey... on realistic difficulty and riding its so slidey that if you dont control your throttle youll just slide out and crash.
Kind of disappointing since ruts would negate the slide completely so you dont have to play the game every lap as if the track was fresh.

Lot of people say that SX games did not change since SX3 (including it) but really SX3 was quite different game. Different pace, different physics on ground and in air, different sounds, different graphics. On the bad side - SX3 had extremely barebones career mode - simply race after race and to next season. It did not even have any meaningfull statistics. Still probably most fun of those games. It was also most colorful, giving that feel of stadium and show the best.
In 6 it looks like the rider never stands up. He’s got the most squatty riding style I’ve ever seen
It would’ve been cool if you made the same custom track in all 3 games so you could see even more differences or whatever. Love the content man🙌🏻

i honestly hate the inside berms on 6, you can’t square up on people or block pass, just feel like it’s a nuisance because there were advantages to both taking the outside and inside now it feels like the two are the same thing now.

Hi, have you tried the third person cameras? Can you move away or is it too close like in supercross 5?
@windham151 they said they were stopping the production of the MXGP games. So it’s definitely not them putting more time into that. Unless I am mistaken
I'm happy that ground looks more like in SX3. SX4 had more details but for me it made it look worse. It looks like it's kinda hard to do high resolution textures of ground in quite slow paced racing game without ground really sticking out. At least in my opinion it looks better when textures are more blurred or simply with smaller rocks. Some of those in SX4 and SX5 looked simply too big, nearly fist sized.
They said on discord that there won't be any DLC this year, just the game as it is from the beginning and that's it
Played thru 250 rookie so far. Feels like it’s easier to be loose on the bike (whip) and impart some style into your riding.
Thanks for this video windham151 and I would probably have the same outlook on the gameplay and the game. At least they did make minor changes with the rider and the game physics I really wish they would use the MXGP 3 or mxgp pro physics since milestone don’t seem to free up the riders more on the games plus give us ruts track deformation give us more freedom on the sticks on the consoles with the rider like the old Ricky Carmichael games back in the day he had great physics or mx vs atv reflex physics I also enjoyed Ea sports supercross physics back in the day to on the ps1 but since it’s milestone they should go back to MXGP 3 an pro physics for there supercross games an make minor changes like they finally did to supercross 6 now I would love to see them do that to there supercross games going forward yes the inside Brums will add something different to this year game an like the fact they give you some freedom of your rider or the pros in the game I like but still the same pull apart sticks but anyway maybe since they made minor changes they will start making improvements going forward but make the track editor better an the career mode to me should have more options an training an the amateurs ranks before turning pro an come to the pro level then sign your contact to a small team or run your own team na bike an go from there but glad milestone starting to make small changes at least in your opinion the game better then 4 an 5 that gives me a sigh of relief to plus one blogger I was watching his live feed of the game an said the in air physics is some what better to but anyway love your videos an as always Windham151

I picked up 6 on XSX a bit back and after playing MXGP21 i just dont like the bike and rider movement. Ive got SX3 on Switch and thats better than 6. Seem to be able to wrestle the bike around the tracks on MX21 and 3, but 6 feels like its a plastic toy bike going around the tracks, so stiff. Thats probably my only gripe about the game.

Great comparison Windham, everything you said is spot on. I'm actually shocked how good-looking 3 is in comparison, but also visually explains why the minor changes to these games are unacceptable 3 games later! But I do think 6 looks the best, but how can you not as an developer at least try to add some workable terrain deformation after all these games, or at least do something innovated, at least they could work on the rider animation for a year. At this point I think reviews are a little bit pointless, what is there to talk about really, what do the devs expect TH-camrs to do, criticize? Come an, they aren't living under a rock. MXGP3 was innovated, come an, get a move on.
mxgp 3 will remain to be the only milestone mxgp or supercross game that had roughness and you could lock into a rut.. been down hill since then.

Very interesting, Supercross 1,2,3 go on sale a lot on console and I’ve found them in bargain bins at stores like Target maybe I’ll check these out.

I went from 4 to 6 and very happy with it. In 6 it just feels better. The weight the tracks, just better. I really don't understand the negativity it's getting. I'm having tons of fun with it!
For anyone wanting to pickup Supercross 3 on PC its currently on sale for $3.74 on steam. Definitely worth it imo

Like Windham said "scaling". The scaling controls the flow. 5 had wacky scaling and the tracks did not flow well. 6 has better scaling and handling. I've raced through Glendale so far. I will be playing 6 a lot more than I did 5.
I think the new monster energy supercross 6 video game Is absolutely amazing I think it is a big change from the others. My opinion

O 5 é bom também agora o 6 peguei agora esta muito ruim a física a moto não derrapa a traseira parece que anda no trilho é broxante eu tô jogando o 5 faz um tempo eu tenho do 3 até o 6 agora e esse 6 esperava mais muito mais
I'm a rider recovering from an ACL tear, what is the most realistic game for keeping my mental game up? I mean full control of rider and bike and real physics.
Suggestions for both SX or MX. ?
Last thing in need is unrealistic expectations on physics when I hope back on the bike 😂😂😂
I still think 4 looks way better than 5 and 6. In 5 his body clips through the bike most of the time and the terrain looks like nothing. 6 looks the worst to me for terrain cant even tell what your riding on. I like the colors and terrain on 4 looks more realistic. I feel this way with a lot of games these days like Unreal and others have pushed so far that its actually worse now.

I hate that they didn’t add better terrain deformation in 6 then they did in 5 clearly 6 is more worth the $30 then it is $60 or $70

Supercross 5 had some tough AI. They could be frustratingly difficult at times.

I was looking forward to 6 it looks decent but the inside berms really ruined it for me. It takes away from the racing aspect and any little bit of immersion I do get from an arcade
MX/SX racing game. Corners are way to unrealistic looking for me. Pretty bummed actually..
why does 4 look so much better? are you on pc and dont have settings turned up on 5 and 6 or is it the actual game?
the actual rider on 4 and 6 look real nice but the track on 4 is by far way better looking

Why is it so hard to make a difficult ai? I’m tired of winning every race by 20+ seconds on the hardest difficulty and shortest race setting
For me 1 and 3 are the best and i have all 6 games.
My biggest gripe with 6 is the AI is horrible, I'm on advanced physics and realistic ai and I haven't felt like there's an actual challenge. They seem to follow one path, and they are just slow and as soon as I get a lead, I'm running away with it with no challenge. Even with short race times and no rewinds I don't feel like I ever need to worry. Wish they made it a little more consistent or just faster in general.
I have no idea what happened with the AI. Last year they were pretty tough. This year it's like set to very easy on all difficulties.
To be honest, I’d rather them NOT have a legend pack or DLC. I always paid for it with preorder and was very let down. Especially last year by the tracks they released. I was looking forward to Pontiac and US open and for me, I felt those tracks were a bust. Custom tracks from other players were as good or better. The legends were just the same riders from previous games dumped into the new game.

The corner at 7:17…. Okay so I agree with a lot of hat you say and I gotta say the way that they did the small movement of the left shoulder when you got back onto the gas in that corner looked soo realistic. The way he tucked it while straight up just whiskey throttling. 😅
I think if milestone would just put the effort into every little detail like that then supercross 7 would be the best game by far. But it just looks like their in it for the money of making supercross games 1-idk 50 haha😂
Milestone said ok we’re gonna make 1, then 2 will be worse with 3 a little better than 1. Then we’ll make 4 and 5 which will worse than 1, 2 and 3. Lastly we’ll make 6 and that will be slightly better than 4 and 5 but not better than 3.
Rear tire looks way to high looks like it’s very front end heavy but the bike is not sliding out so it makes no sense
I will say though that in supercross 6… how the hell is a 450 not able to clear every triple with ease? Even some of the finish line jumps… kinda stoopid if you ask me…
250’s though… FINALLY are fun!

more then likely they dont sell a lot of copies for this game. Most people have moved to pc gaming and are playing much better supercross games now.

Ridig feels way more Arcady than ever before, even with all Aids turned Off it still feel like your riding with damn aids on.
Physics also seem completely off.
Not to mention the Scrubs n Whips.
1st person cam is a Mess n completely unplayable its just all over the place n never in the direction your actually going.
Graphic has also gotten quite a lot worse.
And the Track Editor..
No new jumps, still haven't added the ability back to rotate most jumps like we could in previous games and now you cant even rotate the damn camera in the ''Close up mode''..

Idk i personally enjoyed mes 2 n 3 the most but actually really enjoyed 5 aswell.
Hope Milestone comes back to MxGp..
