this is a great tip - total watch time on a channel as well as saved playlists is a ranking factor for youtube and will increase his reach
Hey Thermal, i discovered your channel a month ago after it was randomly recommended to me and it's single handedly gotten me back into the game and back on the ladder. I wanna convey to you a huge THANKS for making such quality content and rekindling my love for sc2 and the scene. It is so fun rediscovering how the game has changed since WoL/HotS. This game was my life back then and it feels really nice and nostalgic to be playing again. I forgot just how great this game is. I even got a friend of mine who had never played before into it. It really feels like an old part of me has come back to life...
These titles are getting weirder and more cryptic. Is it a secret message uThermal's trying to tell us?

I love your vids Thermy, having that said, I find very "meh..." to watch you clearly having an advantage or almost winning, but having to leave the game because of the time.
That's why I like more PF Rush or Proxy Nexus videos, because even after you fail, you just keep going and try to win normally.
It is absolute gold to see you this happy after game #1 :D always smiling when I see it!
Next proxy rush video title is just going to be "yes."
In the first game; Marc started the final fight with 19 marines, 4 tanks, 2 reapers, a hellion, a viking, and a medivac in a pear tree (and a bunch of SCVs). He then made one more tank and some marines.
The fight and game finished with 3 tanks, 2 marines, and that dang medivac still in it's pear tree.

Man that first game was TENSE! GGWP Marc! My Gold-brain looked at it when you started pushing when time ran out like "oh the toss is so dead, he can't kill that", then it just kept going, and going, and going. I thought that Disruptor blast on the ramp was gonna ruin you but it whiffed so close! Fantastic game.
A possible rule change as you go up against higher players: If they do a build-order counter (anti-cheese build) early game, then you can push your all-in timer to 8 minutes.
The meme titles have been working pretty good actually. For some reason yt is showing me more of your videos now.

I appreciate the new style of titles! Informative and not click-baity. It got a bit out of hand recently with capitalisation and exaggeration.

I used to feel like you need to adhere more strictly to the six minute limit, marc, but that first game cured me of that. What an amazingly tense push into that high-skill Protoss and his main. As soon as the battle began it was tense and the entire time, I wasn't really sure how it was going to go. It really went down to the wire, and you banzai charging into death or just resigning early would have been a huge anticlimax. So you sticking it out, even if the game ran a bit long, produced a real photo finish I was cheering at like it was a sportsball match. The other two games as Zerg were pretty brutal, but the third one was still exciting so hey. Big "Terran is fair and it is balanced too" moment.

Marc, you are absolutely CRACKED. Keep doing what you're doing! I love your content and you make me want to get better at SC2.
And Game 1 is exactly why the no mining past 6 minutes fixed any and all ambiguity about reinforcements and if it still counts as a win like what we had a few times at the beginning of this challenge. There is no doubt that at 9:30 you were still in the middle of your final assault that started before 6 minutes.

I'm not a fan of the Speedrunning aspect of this. I like to see you win when you do well in the early cheese!
I think speed running is not a good challenge. Sometimes, it's a miraculous play that is really cool to see. Other, it's bad play because of the time constraint. But it's more fun when you can play to max potential with weird comp rather than making bad play because of time which very unfair and unrealistic.

In game 3, spine rush - how about making a second round of spines at around 3:30? The two first spines die, but I feel like another 2 spines would do a lot of difference in damage output and tanking. The lings die so fast, but maybe two more spines would be too expensive?

after watching game 1 im kinda suprised you dont keep 1 or 2 scvs back at the base for gas and minerals so you can have an unlimited supply of repairs for your existing mech units. just a thought or suggestion i already know youre way faster than ill ever be at sc2 lol
