@@twistedoldloonyThat's nowhere near as dense as any kind of syrup. It's looks the right level of consistency for "rich" hot chocolate. There's a reason why it's called 'rich' and thick. Any lighter consistency than that and it's no longer thick.

Just my opinion....I would prefer a thin bone china cup, mug, or cream soup bowl for my hot chocolate. Absolutely NO dripping of chocolate on the sides. Yuck! Definitely, a YES with the whipped cream. Excellent addition. I would add a tiny amount of vanilla and sugar to the cream, but that's just me. Love your channel ❤️
