@christopherjackson2685 Yeah but that's because bubble shower is busted against big bosses. It shreds elden beast and that's 100% holy damage against an 80 holy resist boss. Imo I don't think any boss should have 80% resistances, making one damage type completely unfun to use is not a good design choice imo
Since the shadow lands contain a lot of cursed/omen type creatures, it would make sense that holy damage which is the main damage type of the golden order would be effective against such beasts.
@jotarokujo3603 no radagon is a fun boss cuz he good. Elden beast is a chore to beat cuz he has alof health which isn't the issue but he keeps running away
@@arnnoodles8028 It can be annoying but tbh I still think Elden Beast is a pretty fun fight since it has a very varied moveset (except Elden Stars, fuck that part)
I think it's also a problem that many of the coolest holy damage weapons are also in the late game. You know in the part they are the most useless which is a shame.
I am happy to tell you that the new holy spells are awsome like the multilayered ring of light and holy weapons like euporia also slap. Also everything resists holy by 20 or 40 but usually everything else even more.
Its good to know the resistances for all bosses before you fight. The problem is that specialising in a particular build type may make it difficult to be flexible.
I'm not sure about holy damage, but I'm willing to bet we will have many bosses resistant to fire and bleed to stop Blasphemous Blade and bleed spam, lol.
Yeah pretty sure some other vid already discussed it. “Weakness” to something is just them having the least damage reduction from that element. Like imagine every other element take 60% less damage, but lightning only take 50% less damage. That would technically also count as “weak” to lightning
I really wanted to do my first playthrough on holy damage build but when i learned it wasnt that great i ended up doing a lightning incantation build instead. Thematically my 2 favourite elements. So i do hope its a lot better in the dlc
I just want the numbers to be more consistent. Like it bothers me that the Fire Giant, a giant that's made of fire, is 50% resistant to fire and the Elden beast, a beast made of holy, is 80% resistant to holy. Keep the numbers within 10-15 percent of each other and I'd be happy.
It was revealed that our stats will have little impact compared to base game, as there will be a sekiro-like power scaling, where "levels" have to be gained through items dropped from mayor enemies or special locations
Consindering that the dlc will include things that have to do with the crucible, its even less likely that well get many enemies that arent strong against holy. (Omens are strong against holy, the leonine too etc.)
How about some Fire or Magic resistance for a change lol. I hope they bring back Dark Damage for the next game and have 6 Damage types counting Physical, Fire, Lightning, Magic, Holy, and Dark. I loved the Dark Builds the Infusion was strong and the spells were cool af.
They always do this thing where the DLC has to be way harder than the base game, sometimes even to the extent that you have to strip off your armor for fast roll
The Ringed City, was truly some of the hardest shit ever. & then I found out about a little dragon from a different series named Fatalis & FK MAN. 😂🤦🏻♂️ Ringed City & Fatalis have given me PTSD
I love everybody complaining about endgame all the enemies are resistant to Holy when I literally go through there and kill pretty much everything with two hits it's like people talking about which armor is the best because of mathematically one might have more resistances LOL but when you actually play the game doesn't feel any different those numbers are so small that means nothing at all I think it's crazy people try to s*** on faith builds you know you could do faith without using holy right just like everyone who thought you can go in the DLC and be so overpowered I'm so glad they put a stop to that the whole OP build BS is annoying oh do this build and you will one shot the DLC I think every weapon is a good option considering your damage is going to come from your fragments I went in with Dex intelligence and change to strength Faith didn't realize I was doing any more or any less damage it was all depending on my fragments once again mathematically I'm sure I was but playing the game it wasn't a big enough difference to tell I really think people just pay attention to the wrong s*** and they give newer players the wrong impression about so much stuff that doesn't even matter but hey if it gets your views I guess that's all that matters who cares if he weighs 20 hours of someone's free time I have no issues with these games I do guide videos and all that and I say the same thing there trying to be Op or Rune farming is cheap and only takes away from the experience from the game and so does changing up your whole bill just because you're worried something might have some resistance to it play you like and have fun and don't let these people make you overthink it
Honestly its pretty lame that Holy weapons (which are a LOT because the golden order is the most prominent faction in ER so it makes sense we find more of their weapons than something like Thorn weapons) are absolutely garbage on 80% of bosses. because ironically bosses like Mohg or Malenia are extremelly weak to status effects even tho they are supposed to be ENTIRELY about them (Mohg is the lord of blood, and Malenia the Goddess of rot, and yet they are some of the easiest bosses to inflic status effects)
@@AxeBearingVoyager Are you stupid? I said it was the worst. There always has to be a worst in something and holy is the worst damage type. Here is your proof th-cam.com/video/DjnE8yP_8nQ/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Youwy Also I guarantee I'm way better at the game than you

The opposite if anything. Currently the only thing that Omen have an absorption rate of over 0 against is holy.
One would think that things existing outside of golden order would be weak to holy, but no, only undead, who are already weakest enemies in the game
