Thanks for a really helpful video. I practiced with the slat cutter on a spare slat i had from reducing the drop. Reducing the drip is well worth while as it takes weight. This is especially useful for cheap blinds with a plastic headstock: i didn't do it with my old blind, which is why i need a new blind now, 9 years later.
Its easy to cut the top part of the blind. I actually wanted to see how to cut the slats and see if it gives a nice rounded edge. Should have done at least one of the slats to show how it looks . Waste of time video
I just dun mine with a little hand saw and scissors for the slats, looks perfect☺️

Love the way you used angle grinder in the house and sparks flying over the settie 😂 kids don't try this at home.
Hot metal sparks inside the house on a wooden floor with soft furnishings all around are you sure?
wouldn't advise anyone else doing it
Now blinds fit but the house burnt down using angle grinder indoors
That's friggin' hilarious!!
, 😂😂😂😂😂😂👍
👌🤣
Without a guard, too😢
can you use this blind cutter on wooden blinds?
Thank you that’s been a great help .
You're welcome!
How about cut the stack in a chop saw? Gotta choose the right blade and vinyl gets hot if you let it.
I did this it works fine & easier
I cut mine with a table knife, slats and main part lol
Just stick all together with some tape so they don't move around
Lol they told me you can use a hacksaw to cut the headrail. I tried and tried and tried the saw broke in 3 prices 😂😂
Thankyou 🙂
You’re welcome 😊
Aluminum header wouldn’t produce sparks. I bundle my blinds together and cut them all at once
I can see a baking sheet and a pitcher of water being handy
You only need a pair of tin, snips, or a pair of garden pruners. to trim the slats. You don't need to buy gadgets. Hope that helps.
Loved this video, but grinding cutting inside over a wood veneer floor😂
So.........He NEVER did use the awesome tool to CUT the slats?!
Don't you think an example of that cutting tool in use may have been helpful?!
Great point...I've just gone through 2 today....broke first time....bought from dunelm..terrible tool ...£ 3.50 worth of rubbish!!
I lay the blind out straight and with a straight edge mark with pencil and scissors takes me 5 minutes. Good video though.
Did this dude just used angle grinder inside his home 😅😅😅and posted it on TH-cam 😅😅😅
I thought tab burns in your furniture was the big problem these days never mind furniture melted from sparks by using grinder indior 😂😅
Is this guy really blowing sparks in his living room
